Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Concord, OH
Why We Adore Yorkies
Everyone at The Puppy House has a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies. This breed is known for its long, beautiful, silky coat, and because it sheds very little, it's often recommended for people with allergies. For a dog that typically weighs 7 pounds or less, the Yorkie has a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But underneath that attitude, what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of snuggling and sticking close all the time is the cherry on top. Most families find that Yorkies fit right in. Families in the Concord, Ohio area often find it challenging to locate a reputable Yorkie breeder, since there are so few responsible breeders nationwide. That's why we take great pride in bringing our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Concord. We want every family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can depend on.
Our Available Yorkie Puppies In Concord
See Why Our Puppies Are the Best
At The Puppy House, we're committed to breeding and raising Yorkies the right way. We expect much more from ourselves than the basics. Our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines with a reputation for great temperaments. Our dogs are all well cared for and have plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy receives Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), which is a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Another important step is socialization, which lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. In our backyard, the puppies play and explore with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This helps with socialization and gives them plenty of exercise too.
You're welcome to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. This way, you can see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take placing each Yorkie seriously, and we see it as more than a one-time sale. We love keeping in touch with the new friends we make and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before going home, every puppy gets their first round of vaccinations and is checked thoroughly by a veterinarian. You can rest easy knowing you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to Concord, Ohio
Coming to get the puppy
Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From Concord the farm is 141 miles away, 2 to 4 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.
We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.
Home delivery
If the drive genuinely doesn't work, home delivery to Concord, to , including Troy OH, Piqua OH, West Milton OH, and Pleasant Hill OH, or anywhere else in Miami County is $250, which is the lowest rate we charge anywhere. Your puppy travels with a pet delivery service in a climate controlled van, in a carrier of its own, and there are always two drivers so somebody is with the puppies the whole way. Their own veterinarian checks each puppy over after pickup and before the van leaves the driveway. Reserve before noon on Monday and it usually runs that week.
Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at James M. Cox Dayton International Airport, and Cincinnati Municipal Airport Lunken Field, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
