Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Brentwood, TN
Find Out Why Yorkies Mean So Much to Us
Yorkshire Terriers, or Yorkies as most people call them, are near and dear to our hearts at The Puppy House. This breed has a beautiful, long, silky coat that sheds very little, making it a popular recommendation for people with allergies. Yorkies typically weigh 7 pounds or less, but you'd never guess it from their feisty, bossy, big-dog attitude. But their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family are what really win people over. Their love of snuggling and sticking close all the time is the cherry on top. They settle into most family homes with ease. Finding reputable Yorkie breeders in the Brentwood, Tennessee area can be challenging, since there are so few responsible breeders across the country. That's the reason we take so much pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Brentwood. We want every family to have the chance to own a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.
Our Available Yorkie Puppies In Brentwood
What Makes Our Yorkie Puppies the Best
At The Puppy House, we pride ourselves on breeding and raising Yorkies the right way. The bar we set for ourselves is well above the basics. Our adult dogs are all genetically tested, and they come from strong bloodlines known for wonderful temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for, with plenty of room to play and socialize.
We start every puppy on Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. We also make socialization a priority, because it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. In the backyard, our puppies play and explore with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and they get lots of exercise along the way.
If you're able, come visit us and pick out your puppy in person. During your visit, you can see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. Placing our Yorkies in new homes is something we take seriously, and it's more than a one-time sale for us. We love meeting new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our puppies grow up in loving homes.
Each puppy gets their first round of vaccinations and a thorough exam from a veterinarian before going home. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.
Delivery to Brentwood, Tennessee: What It Costs and How Long It Takes
Tennessee falls in our regional delivery tier at a flat $350, and the drive from Sugarcreek to Brentwood runs 416 miles, roughly 7 to 9 hours. Here's how the three options work.
Farm pickup in Sugarcreek
You drive to us by appointment. The puppy goes home the same day. As a rule of thumb, around five hours each way is a reasonable day, past seven it gets long, and somewhere around nine it stops making sense, so you'll know where Brentwood falls. Families who come up meet the parent dogs, walk through the vaccination records and microchip registration at the kitchen table, and leave with a bag of the food the puppy has been eating along with a toy and a blanket that smells like the litter.
Home delivery by ground
Most Tennessee families take this route. A professional pet transport service carries the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary check before departure and updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays, and Tennessee is close enough to the route that families here are usually among the earlier stops rather than riding along for days. The fee is a flat $350 for Brentwood, for , including Nashville TN, Franklin TN, Forest Hills TN, Oak Hill TN, and Belle Meade TN, and for anywhere else in Williamson County, and we confirm the timing on a call. No airport trip, no cargo hold, and nothing for you to arrange.
Flight nanny
A handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them on a commercial flight, never in cargo, and hands the puppy to you at baggage claim. Most of these are done the same day. Tennessee has good coverage for this, and for Brentwood the workable arrival points are Nashville International Airport, and Huntsville International Airport. The puppy needs to be at least eight weeks old, under 20 pounds including the carrier, which no Yorkie is ever close to, and traveling with a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. It costs more than ground and it's quoted per flight.
What we usually suggest
If the drive from Brentwood is short enough to do in a day, weigh the pickup against ground delivery, because it's worth it if you want to see where the puppy grew up. If it isn't, ground delivery is the sensible choice. Flight nanny gets it done in a day.
