Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Collierville, TN
Find Out Why Yorkies Mean So Much to Us
Yorkshire Terriers, or Yorkies as most people call them, are near and dear to our hearts at The Puppy House. A Yorkie's long, beautiful, silky coat sheds very little, which is why the breed is often recommended for people with allergies. Even at 7 pounds or less, Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can come across as feisty and bossy. Yet what really wins people over is their sweet disposition and the deep bond they form with their family. The fact that they love to cuddle and stay close all the time is the icing on the cake. Yorkies adapt easily to most families. Searching for a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Collierville, Tennessee area can be challenging, given how few responsible breeders there are nationwide. This is why we're so proud to offer carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Collierville. Our hope is that every family can have a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

What Makes Our Yorkie Puppies the Best
At The Puppy House, we pride ourselves on breeding and raising Yorkies the right way. We hold our program to standards well beyond the basics. All of our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines that are known for great temperaments. Each of our dogs is well cared for and has lots of room to play and be social.
All of our puppies go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Another important step is socialization, which helps shape good behavior and habits as they grow. Our pups play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great for their social skills, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
We always welcome visits, so come pick out your puppy in person if you can. While you're here, you can see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We don't take placing our Yorkies lightly, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love forming new friendships, staying in touch, and seeing our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before your puppy comes home, they receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can trust that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Delivery to Collierville, Tennessee: What It Costs and How Long It Takes
Tennessee falls in our regional delivery tier at a flat $350, and the drive from Sugarcreek to Collierville runs 578 miles, roughly 11 to 13 hours. Here's how the three options work.
Farm pickup in Sugarcreek
You drive to us by appointment. The puppy goes home the same day. As a rule of thumb, around five hours each way is a reasonable day, past seven it gets long, and somewhere around nine it stops making sense, so you'll know where Collierville falls. Families who come up meet the parent dogs, walk through the vaccination records and microchip registration at the kitchen table, and leave with a bag of the food the puppy has been eating along with a toy and a blanket that smells like the litter.
Home delivery by ground
Most Tennessee families take this route. A professional pet transport service carries the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary check before departure and updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays, and Tennessee is close enough to the route that families here are usually among the earlier stops rather than riding along for days. The fee is a flat $350 for Collierville, for , including Jackson TN, Oakland TN, Holly Springs MS, Somerville TN, Piperton TN, Mason TN, Rossville TN, Moscow TN, and Ashland MS, and for anywhere else in Shelby County, and we confirm the timing on a call. No airport trip, no cargo hold, and nothing for you to arrange.
Flight nanny
A handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them on a commercial flight, never in cargo, and hands the puppy to you at baggage claim. Most of these are done the same day. Tennessee has good coverage for this, and for Collierville the workable arrival points are Memphis International Airport, and McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport. The puppy needs to be at least eight weeks old, under 20 pounds including the carrier, which no Yorkie is ever close to, and traveling with a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. It costs more than ground and it's quoted per flight.
What we usually suggest
If the drive from Collierville is short enough to do in a day, weigh the pickup against ground delivery, because it's worth it if you want to see where the puppy grew up. If it isn't, ground delivery is the sensible choice. Flight nanny gets it done in a day.
