Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Jackson, TN
Find Out Why Yorkies Mean So Much to Us
Yorkshire Terriers, or Yorkies as most people call them, are near and dear to our hearts at The Puppy House. This low-shedding breed has a long, beautiful, silky coat and is often recommended for people with allergies. Despite typically weighing 7 pounds or less, Yorkies carry a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But what most people love is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of cuddling and staying right by your side is the icing on the cake. Yorkies make a wonderful fit for most families. It can be challenging to find reputable Yorkie breeders in the Jackson, Tennessee area, since responsible breeders are few and far between across the country. That's exactly why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkie puppies to families in Jackson. We want every family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can depend on.

What Makes Our Yorkie Puppies the Best
At The Puppy House, we pride ourselves on breeding and raising Yorkies the right way. Our standards go well past the bare minimum. Each of our adult dogs is genetically tested and comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have all the room they need to play and socialize.
Our puppies go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done during the first few weeks of life. We also focus on socialization, which lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. They spend time in the backyard playing and exploring with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it's a fun way for them to get exercise too.
Feel free to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We're careful about placing our Yorkies, and for us it's always more than a one-time sale. We love building new friendships, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Our puppies receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before they go home. You can trust that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Delivery to Jackson, Tennessee: What It Costs and How Long It Takes
Tennessee falls in our regional delivery tier at a flat $350, and the drive from Sugarcreek to Jackson runs 515 miles, roughly 9 to 11 hours. Here's how the three options work.
Farm pickup in Sugarcreek
You drive to us by appointment. The puppy goes home the same day. As a rule of thumb, around five hours each way is a reasonable day, past seven it gets long, and somewhere around nine it stops making sense, so you'll know where Jackson falls. Families who come up meet the parent dogs, walk through the vaccination records and microchip registration at the kitchen table, and leave with a bag of the food the puppy has been eating along with a toy and a blanket that smells like the litter.
Home delivery by ground
Most Tennessee families take this route. A professional pet transport service carries the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary check before departure and updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays, and Tennessee is close enough to the route that families here are usually among the earlier stops rather than riding along for days. The fee is a flat $350 for Jackson, for , including Dyersburg TN, Martin TN, Brownsville TN, Humboldt TN, Lexington TN, Milan TN, Savannah TN, Henderson TN, McKenzie TN, Bolivar TN, Whiteville TN, Medina TN, Selmer TN, Trenton TN, Huntingdon TN, Camden TN, Newbern TN, Dresden TN, Bells TN, Parsons TN, Alamo TN, Dyer TN, Adamsville TN, Greenfield TN, Halls TN, Three Way TN, Ridgely TN, Crump TN, Bruceton TN, Gleason TN, Troy TN, Kenton TN, Rutherford TN, Obion TN, Bradford TN, Scotts Hill TN, Atwood TN, Sharon TN, Decaturville TN, Trezevant TN, Walnut MS, Bethel Springs TN, Eastview TN, Chesterfield TN, Hollow Rock TN, Friendship TN, Maury City TN, Michie TN, Middleton TN, Trimble TN, Gates TN, and Saltillo TN, and for anywhere else in Madison County, and we confirm the timing on a call. Flight nanny
A handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them on a commercial flight, never in cargo, and hands the puppy to you at baggage claim. Most of these are done the same day. Tennessee has good coverage for this, and for Jackson the workable arrival points are McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport, and Memphis International Airport. The puppy needs to be at least eight weeks old, under 20 pounds including the carrier, which no Yorkie is ever close to, and traveling with a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. It costs more than ground and it's quoted per flight.
What we usually suggest
If the drive from Jackson is short enough to do in a day, weigh the pickup against ground delivery, because it's worth it if you want to see where the puppy grew up. If it isn't, ground delivery is the sensible choice. Flight nanny gets it done in a day.
