Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Piqua, OH
What We Adore About Yorkies
At The Puppy House, we have a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, better known as Yorkies. A Yorkie's long, beautiful, silky coat sheds very little, which is why the breed is often recommended for people with allergies. They may be tiny, typically weighing 7 pounds or less, but Yorkies have a feisty, bossy, big-dog attitude. But it's their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family that really win people over. Their love of cuddling and staying close all the time is the cherry on top. They adapt well to most families. It can be challenging to find reputable Yorkie breeders in the Piqua, Ohio area, since responsible breeders are few and far between across the country. That's why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Piqua. Our goal is for every family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Learn What Makes Our Puppies the Best
At The Puppy House, we don't cut corners when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. We hold ourselves to standards that go well beyond the basics. Our adult dogs are all genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Every dog we have receives excellent care and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
Each of our puppies receives Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a set of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is just as important, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. They get plenty of time to play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's wonderful socialization, and they get plenty of exercise too.
If you can make the trip, we invite you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person. You'll get to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We treat placing our Yorkies as more than a one-time sale, and we take it seriously. We love making new friends, staying in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before leaving for their new home, each puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can bring your new Yorkie home knowing they're healthy, happy, and ready to be part of your family.
Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to Piqua, Ohio
Coming to get the puppy
Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From Piqua the farm is 139 miles away, 2 to 4 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.
We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.

Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at James M. Cox Dayton International Airport, and John Glenn Columbus International Airport, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
