Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Statesville, NC
See Why We Adore Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, often called Yorkies, hold a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. People with allergies are often pointed toward Yorkies, since their beautiful, long, silky coat sheds very little. Don't let their size fool you. Yorkies typically weigh 7 pounds or less, but they have a feisty, bossy, big-dog attitude. But the real reason people fall for Yorkies is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of snuggling up and staying by your side is the icing on the cake. Most families find that Yorkies fit right in. If you live in the Statesville, North Carolina area, finding a reputable Yorkie breeder can be challenging, since there are so few responsible breeders nationwide. That's exactly why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkie puppies to families in Statesville. We want every family to have a healthy, well-raised puppy they can rely on.

What Makes Our Puppies Special
At The Puppy House, we believe in doing things the right way when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. We set our standards well above the basics. All of our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for their great temperaments. Every one of our dogs is well cared for and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
All of our puppies go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important step, and it builds the foundation for good behavior and habits as they grow. They play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This time outside is great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
We invite you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can tour our home, see our dogs, and meet us face to face. We take placing our Yorkies seriously, since to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love keeping in touch with the new friends we make and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Each puppy has their first round of vaccinations and a full veterinary exam before going home. You can bring your new Yorkie home knowing they're healthy, happy, and ready to be part of your family.
Puppy Delivery to Statesville, North Carolina by Road, Air, or Farm Pickup
Ground transport carries most North Carolina puppies home. It's the option we suggest first for Statesville. A professional pet transport service carries the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in its own carrier, with a vet check before it leaves and updates as it travels. North Carolina sits in our regional pricing tier, so the flat fee is $350, in Statesville and in , including Hickory NC, Elkin NC, Troutman NC, Jonesville NC, Sparta NC, Stony Point NC, Hays NC, Independence VA, Pleasant Hill NC, Catawba NC, and Harmony NC alike. Vans leave Sugarcreek on Tuesdays, and at 328 miles from the farm your address is an early stop on the route, which usually means the puppy is in your arms the following day rather than three days later.
Flight nanny is the faster choice and is quoted per flight rather than at a flat rate. A trained handler carries the puppy in the cabin the entire time, never in cargo, and hands the puppy to you at baggage claim, almost always the same day. The easiest arrivals for Iredell County families are Concord-Padgett Regional Airport, and Charlotte Douglas International Airport. A Yorkie makes this simple on the paperwork side, since the airline limit is 20 pounds including the carrier and an eight week old Yorkshire Terrier is nowhere near that. We arrange the health certificate before travel.
Farm pickup is the third option. The drive from Statesville is 6 to 8 hours each way, and a fair number of North Carolina families treat it as a weekend. Come to Sugarcreek by appointment, meet the puppy where it grew up, and we go through vaccination records, microchip registration, and the guarantee at the kitchen table. You leave with a bag of the food the puppy has been eating, a toy, and a blanket that smells like the litter.
The method, the timing, and the fee all get confirmed on a phone call after a puppy is reserved.
