Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Kannapolis, NC
Learn Why We Adore Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, often called Yorkies, hold a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. Yorkies have a long, beautiful, silky coat and are often recommended for people with allergies because they shed very little. They're small, usually weighing 7 pounds or less, but Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the close bond they build with their family. And their love of cuddling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. Most families find that Yorkies fit right in. If you live in the Kannapolis, North Carolina area, finding a reputable Yorkie breeder can be challenging, since there are so few responsible breeders nationwide. This is why we're proud to make our carefully bred Yorkie puppies available to families in Kannapolis. Our mission is to help every family find a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

What Makes Our Puppies Stand Out
At The Puppy House, we believe in doing things the right way when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. Our standards go well beyond the basics. All the adult dogs in our program are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Every one of our dogs is well looked after and has plenty of space to play and socialize.
All our puppies receive Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises we do in the first few weeks of life. We also make socialization a priority, because it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. Our puppies explore and play in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it's good exercise for them too.
We welcome you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you're able to. You'll be able to look around our home, see our dogs, and meet us face to face. We take placing our Yorkies seriously, since to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love forming new friendships, staying in touch, and seeing our pups grow up in loving homes.
Our puppies receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before they go home. You can trust that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Puppy Delivery to Kannapolis, North Carolina by Road, Air, or Farm Pickup
Ground transport carries most North Carolina puppies home. It's the option we suggest first for Kannapolis. A professional pet transport service carries the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in its own carrier, with a vet check before it leaves and updates as it travels. North Carolina sits in our regional pricing tier, so the flat fee is $350, in Kannapolis and in , including Concord NC, Salisbury NC, China Grove NC, Enochville NC, and Landis NC alike. Vans leave Sugarcreek on Tuesdays, and at 351 miles from the farm your address is an early stop on the route, which usually means the puppy is in your arms the following day rather than three days later.
Flight nanny is the faster choice and is quoted per flight rather than at a flat rate. A trained handler carries the puppy in the cabin the entire time, never in cargo, and hands the puppy to you at baggage claim, almost always the same day. The easiest arrivals for Cabarrus County families are Concord-Padgett Regional Airport, and Charlotte Douglas International Airport. A Yorkie makes this simple on the paperwork side, since the airline limit is 20 pounds including the carrier and an eight week old Yorkshire Terrier is nowhere near that. We arrange the health certificate before travel.
Farm pickup is the third option. The drive from Kannapolis is 6 to 8 hours each way, and a fair number of North Carolina families treat it as a weekend. Come to Sugarcreek by appointment, meet the puppy where it grew up, and we go through vaccination records, microchip registration, and the guarantee at the kitchen table. You leave with a bag of the food the puppy has been eating, a toy, and a blanket that smells like the litter.
The method, the timing, and the fee all get confirmed on a phone call after a puppy is reserved.
