Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Cornelius, NC
Learn Why We Adore Yorkies
At The Puppy House, Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies, hold a special place in our hearts. The breed is often recommended for people with allergies thanks to its long, beautiful, silky coat that sheds very little. Even though they typically weigh 7 pounds or less, Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family are what really win people over. The cherry on top is their love of cuddling and staying close all the time. Yorkies make a wonderful fit for most families. It can be challenging to find reputable Yorkie breeders in the Cornelius, North Carolina area, since responsible breeders are few and far between across the country. That's why we take great pride in making our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies available to families in Cornelius. We want every family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can depend on.

What Makes Our Puppies Stand Out
When it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies, we do things the right way at The Puppy House. Our standards go much further than the basics. Every adult dog in our program is genetically tested and comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Every dog here gets great care and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
All of our puppies go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Another important step is socialization, which helps our puppies build good behavior and habits as they grow. Out in the backyard, our puppies play and explore alongside kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's a great way to socialize them, and they get plenty of exercise too.
We welcome you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you're able to. This gives you a chance to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take great care in placing our Yorkies, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We enjoy making new friends, staying in touch, and seeing our pups grow up in loving homes.
Each puppy has their first round of vaccinations and a full veterinary exam before going home. You can bring your new Yorkie home knowing they're healthy, happy, and ready to be part of your family.
Puppy Delivery to Cornelius, North Carolina by Road, Air, or Farm Pickup
Ground transport carries most North Carolina puppies home. It's the option we suggest first for Cornelius. A professional pet transport service carries the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in its own carrier, with a vet check before it leaves and updates as it travels. North Carolina sits in our regional pricing tier, so the flat fee is $350, in Cornelius and in , including Huntersville NC, Mooresville NC, Davidson NC, Lake Norman of Iredell NC, Westport NC, Denver NC, and Lowesville NC alike. Vans leave Sugarcreek on Tuesdays, and at 348 miles from the farm your address is an early stop on the route, which usually means the puppy is in your arms the following day rather than three days later.
Flight nanny is the faster choice and is quoted per flight rather than at a flat rate. A trained handler carries the puppy in the cabin the entire time, never in cargo, and hands the puppy to you at baggage claim, almost always the same day. The easiest arrivals for Mecklenburg County families are Concord-Padgett Regional Airport, and Charlotte Douglas International Airport. A Yorkie makes this simple on the paperwork side, since the airline limit is 20 pounds including the carrier and an eight week old Yorkshire Terrier is nowhere near that. We arrange the health certificate before travel.
Farm pickup is the third option. The drive from Cornelius is 6 to 8 hours each way, and a fair number of North Carolina families treat it as a weekend. Come to Sugarcreek by appointment, meet the puppy where it grew up, and we go through vaccination records, microchip registration, and the guarantee at the kitchen table. You leave with a bag of the food the puppy has been eating, a toy, and a blanket that smells like the litter.
The method, the timing, and the fee all get confirmed on a phone call after a puppy is reserved.
