Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Charlotte, NC
Learn Why We Adore Yorkies
At The Puppy House, Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies, hold a special place in our hearts. Along with their beautiful, long, silky coat, Yorkies shed very little, so they're often recommended for people with allergies. Don't let their size fool you. Yorkies typically weigh 7 pounds or less, but they have a feisty, bossy, big-dog attitude. But underneath that attitude, what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of cuddles and being near you all the time is the icing on the cake. They slip right into family life in most homes. Since there are so few responsible breeders across the country, finding reputable Yorkie breeders in the Charlotte, North Carolina area can be challenging. That's why we take real pride in providing our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Charlotte. We believe every family deserves access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

What Makes Our Puppies Stand Out
When it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies, we do things the right way at The Puppy House. We hold our program to standards well beyond the basics. Every adult dog we own is genetically tested and comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have plenty of space for playing and socializing.
Our puppies go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done during the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another key step, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies get to play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This is great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
Whenever possible, we invite you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person. You'll get to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We don't take placing our Yorkies lightly, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love building new friendships, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
All of our puppies get their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before they go home. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.
Puppy Delivery to Charlotte, North Carolina by Road, Air, or Farm Pickup
Ground transport carries most North Carolina puppies home. It's the option we suggest first for Charlotte. A professional pet transport service carries the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in its own carrier, with a vet check before it leaves and updates as it travels. North Carolina sits in our regional pricing tier, so the flat fee is $350, in Charlotte and in , including and Gastonia NC alike. Vans leave Sugarcreek on Tuesdays, and at 366 miles from the farm your address is an early stop on the route, which usually means the puppy is in your arms the following day rather than three days later.
Flight nanny is the faster choice and is quoted per flight rather than at a flat rate. A trained handler carries the puppy in the cabin the entire time, never in cargo, and hands the puppy to you at baggage claim, almost always the same day. The easiest arrivals for Mecklenburg County families are Charlotte Douglas International Airport, and Concord-Padgett Regional Airport. A Yorkie makes this simple on the paperwork side, since the airline limit is 20 pounds including the carrier and an eight week old Yorkshire Terrier is nowhere near that. We arrange the health certificate before travel.
Farm pickup is the third option. The drive from Charlotte is 6 to 8 hours each way, and a fair number of North Carolina families treat it as a weekend. Come to Sugarcreek by appointment, meet the puppy where it grew up, and we go through vaccination records, microchip registration, and the guarantee at the kitchen table. You leave with a bag of the food the puppy has been eating, a toy, and a blanket that smells like the litter.
The method, the timing, and the fee all get confirmed on a phone call after a puppy is reserved.
