Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Delta, MI
The Reasons We Love Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, affectionately called Yorkies, have a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. Yorkies have a long, beautiful, silky coat and are often recommended for people with allergies because they shed very little. Yorkies may be small, typically weighing 7 pounds or less, but they have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family are what really win people over. Their love of cuddling and being close by all the time is the icing on the cake. They quickly become part of most families. Locating reputable Yorkie breeders in the Delta, Michigan area can be challenging, as there are very few responsible breeders across the country. For this reason, we're proud to offer our carefully bred Yorkie puppies to families in Delta. We want every family to have a healthy, well-raised puppy they can truly count on.

Discover What Sets Our Puppies Apart
At The Puppy House, we don't cut corners when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. We aim much higher than the basics. We only work with genetically tested adult dogs from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Every dog here gets great care and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
From the start, every puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is just as important, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies get to play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This is a great way for them to socialize, and they get plenty of exercise too.
If you can, we invite you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person. That way, you can meet us face to face and see our home and our dogs. We don't take placing our Yorkies lightly, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love forming new friendships, staying in touch, and seeing our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before your puppy comes home, they receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can trust that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Getting a Yorkie Puppy Home to Delta, Michigan
Three ways work here, and which one we suggest for Delta mostly comes down to how you feel about the drive.
Pickup at the farm is free and it's the option we point Michigan families toward first. The drive is short by our standards. From Delta it's 220 miles, which works out to 3 to 5 hours each way. You get to see where the puppy was raised, go over the vaccination records and microchip registration at the table, and drive home with the puppy in your lap rather than in a van.
Home delivery by ground is our most popular option. It costs a flat $350 anywhere in Michigan, so a Eaton County address pays the same whether it's in Delta or out in , including Waverly MI, Charlotte MI, Grand Ledge MI, Windsor MI, Eaton MI, Portland MI, Oneida MI, Danby MI, Carmel MI, Potterville MI, Dallas MI, Roxand MI, Wacousta MI, Brookfield MI, North Plains MI, Dimondale MI, Fowler MI, Sebewa MI, Westphalia MI, Lyons MI, Lebanon MI, Muir MI, Sunfield MI, and Mulliken MI. A professional transport service drives door to door in a climate controlled van, the puppy travels in an individual carrier after a pre transport vet check, and you get updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays, and most families are holding their puppy within about three days of departure, often sooner given how short the run north is.
Flight nanny is the fast option and gets quoted per flight. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin the whole way, never in cargo, and hands it to you at baggage claim, usually the same day. Yorkies make this easy because a puppy and an airline approved soft carrier together come nowhere near the twenty pound cabin limit. Delta families would meet the nanny at Capital Region International Airport, and Gerald R. Ford International Airport. Health certificates are arranged before travel, and weather delays are worth planning around in winter.
