Why Yorkies Have Our Hearts

Everyone at The Puppy House has a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies. Yorkies have a beautiful, long, silky coat, and since they shed very little, they're often recommended for people with allergies. They're small, usually weighing 7 pounds or less, but Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. Still, their sweet nature and the deep connection they form with their family are what really win people over. On top of that, they love to cuddle and stay close all the time. Yorkies fit right in with most families. Reputable Yorkie breeders can be hard to find in the Fairborn, Ohio area, since there are so few responsible breeders nationwide. That's why we're so proud to provide families in Fairborn with our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies. It matters to us that every family has access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Discover What Makes Our Puppies the Best

Breeding and raising Yorkies the right way is what we're all about at The Puppy House. Our standards go far beyond the basics. All of our adult dogs come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments, and every one is genetically tested. Our dogs get great care and plenty of room to play and socialize.

We start every puppy on Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Another important step is socialization, which lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. In the backyard, our puppies play and explore with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's excellent socialization, and it gives them lots of exercise as well.

If you're able to, we'd love for you to visit and choose your puppy in person. That way, you can see where your puppy was raised, spend time with our dogs, and meet us face to face. To us, placing a Yorkie is more than a one-time sale, and we take it seriously. We love making new friends, checking in over the years, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.

Every puppy gets their first round of shots and a thorough veterinary exam before going home. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.

Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to Fairborn, Ohio

Coming to get the puppy

Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From Fairborn the farm is 134 miles away, 2 to 4 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.

We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.

Home delivery

If the drive genuinely doesn't work, home delivery to Fairborn, to , including Springfield OH, Bath OH, Bethel OH, Mad River OH, New Carlisle OH, Park Layne OH, Wright-Patterson AFB OH, Enon OH, Green Meadows OH, Crystal Lakes OH, and Holiday Valley OH, or anywhere else in Greene County is $250, which is the lowest rate we charge anywhere. Your puppy travels with a pet delivery service in a climate controlled van, in a carrier of its own, and there are always two drivers so somebody is with the puppies the whole way. Their own veterinarian checks each puppy over after pickup and before the van leaves the driveway. Reserve before noon on Monday and it usually runs that week.

Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at James M. Cox Dayton International Airport, and Cincinnati Municipal Airport Lunken Field, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
