Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Lima, OH
Why We're Crazy About Yorkies
At The Puppy House, we have a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, better known as Yorkies. This breed has a long, beautiful, silky coat and is often recommended for people with allergies because it sheds very little. Despite typically weighing 7 pounds or less, Yorkies carry a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. Still, their sweet nature and the deep connection they form with their family are what really win people over. To top it off, they love to cuddle and stay close all the time. They quickly become part of most families. Locating reputable Yorkie breeders in the Lima, Ohio area can be challenging, as there are very few responsible breeders across the country. That's why we take great pride in bringing our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Lima. We want every family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.
Our Available Yorkie Puppies In Lima
Find Out What Makes Our Puppies the Best
Breeding and raising Yorkies the right way is what we're all about at The Puppy House. We go above and beyond the basics. All of our adult dogs come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments, and every one is genetically tested. Our dogs are well cared for and enjoy plenty of room to play and socialize.
During their first few weeks, our puppies go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises. Socialization is another important step that lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. In the backyard, our puppies play and explore with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great for their social skills, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
You're welcome to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can see our home, meet our dogs, and get to know us face to face. We take placing our Yorkies seriously, since to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends, keeping in touch, and seeing our puppies grow up in loving homes.
Every puppy has their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before going to their new home. You can rest easy knowing you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to Lima, Ohio
Coming to get the puppy
Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From Lima the farm is 131 miles away, 2 to 4 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.
We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.

Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at James M. Cox Dayton International Airport, and Fort Wayne International Airport, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
