Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Ela, IL
Learn the Reasons We Love Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, affectionately called Yorkies, have a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. Yorkies have a beautiful, long, silky coat that sheds very little, and they're often suggested for people with allergies. Yorkies usually tip the scales at 7 pounds or less, yet they have a feisty, bossy, big-dog attitude. Still, what wins most people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of cuddling and being close by all the time is the icing on the cake. Most families find that Yorkies fit right in. It can be challenging to find reputable Yorkie breeders in the Ela, Illinois area, since responsible breeders are few and far between across the country. That's why we're so proud to provide families in Ela with our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies. Our hope is that every family can have a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Learn What Sets Our Puppies Apart
We breed and raise our Yorkies the right way here at The Puppy House. Our standards reach well past the basics. Each of our adult dogs is genetically tested and comes from strong bloodlines with a history of great temperaments. We give our dogs great care and plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy starts out with Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done over the first few weeks. We also make socialization a priority, because it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. In the backyard, our puppies play and explore with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it's good exercise for them too.
We always welcome visits, so come pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can tour our home, see our dogs, and meet us face to face. We take great care in placing our Yorkies, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends and staying in touch as our pups grow up in loving homes.
All of our puppies get their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before they go home. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.
Yorkie Puppy Delivery to Ela, Illinois, and What Each Option Costs
Pickup in Sugarcreek. Collect the puppy yourself, by appointment. From Ela that's 6 to 8 hours each way. Families who make the drive see where the puppy was raised and go over the vaccination records, microchip registration, and health guarantee in person.
Home delivery by ground. Most Illinois families take this option, and it's the one we would suggest for almost any address in Lake County. A professional transport service drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary check before departure and updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays. At $350 flat, Illinois sits in our regional tier, and since the state is one of the nearer stops heading west, most families have their puppy within a day or two of departure rather than the full three. Ela comes up 354 miles into the route, and the same van reaches , including Lake Zurich IL, Cuba IL, Barrington IL, Hawthorn Woods IL, Lake Barrington IL, Deer Park IL, Kildeer IL, North Barrington IL, Forest Lake IL, and Tower Lakes IL.
Flight nanny. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands it over at baggage claim. The usual arrival airports for Ela families are Chicago O'Hare International Airport, and Chicago Midway International Airport. Nearly all of these trips wrap up inside a day. It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight, since the price depends on the route and the date. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under twenty pounds including the carrier, which no Yorkshire Terrier gets anywhere near, and we arrange the health certificate beforehand. Winter delays are worth planning around if you're flying a puppy into Illinois in January.
We send food along with every puppy. The method, the timing, and the price all get confirmed on a call once a puppy is reserved.
