Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Goose Creek, SC
Find Out Why Yorkies Are So Special to Us
At The Puppy House, Yorkshire Terriers, often simply called Yorkies, are very close to our hearts. Along with their beautiful, long, silky coat, Yorkies shed very little, so they're often recommended for people with allergies. Yorkies generally weigh 7 pounds or less, yet they carry themselves with a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But at heart, Yorkies win people over with their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. The icing on the cake is their love of cuddling and staying close all the time. They fit in well with most families. Responsible breeders are few and far between across the country, which makes finding a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Goose Creek, South Carolina area a challenge. This is why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Goose Creek. Every family should have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on, and that's what we're here to provide.

What Makes Our Puppies a Cut Above
At The Puppy House, we always do things the right way when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. We go well beyond the basic standards. All of our adult dogs come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments, and every one is genetically tested. Every dog here is well cared for and has lots of room to play and socialize.
In the first few weeks of life, every puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises. Another important step is socialization, which lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. They play and explore in our backyard with kids, adults, and our vaccinated adult dogs. It's excellent socialization, and it gives them lots of exercise as well.
We'd love for you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can see our home, get to know our dogs, and meet us face to face. We're serious about placing our Yorkies, and for us it's more than a one-time sale. It means a lot to us to make new friends, keep in touch, and watch our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before going home, every puppy gets their first round of vaccinations and is checked thoroughly by a veterinarian. You can rest easy knowing you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Getting a Yorkie Puppy to Goose Creek, South Carolina: Pickup, Ground, and Flight Nanny
Most Goose Creek families choose home delivery. A professional pet transport service moves the puppy door to door in a custom climate controlled van, with its own carrier, a veterinary check before leaving, and updates on the way. Transport leaves Sugarcreek on Tuesdays and the flat fee to South Carolina is $350, the same in Goose Creek as in , including Summerville SC, Moncks Corner SC, St. Stephen SC, Bonneau Beach SC, and Pinopolis SC. Since Goose Creek is 526 miles from the farm, puppies headed your way usually arrive early in the run rather than at the end of it, and most families have theirs within about three days of departure. The climate controlled van earns its keep on this route more than on most.
Flight nanny moves faster. A trained handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, in an airline approved soft carrier under the seat, and hands the puppy over at baggage claim. Most finish inside one day. Families in Berkeley County fly their puppies into Charleston International Airport, and Hilton Head Airport. The puppy needs to be at least eight weeks old, under twenty pounds with the carrier, and cleared by a licensed veterinarian, which a four to seven pound Yorkshire Terrier manages without any trouble. This one is quoted per flight and costs more than ground.
Farm pickup is open to anyone willing to make the drive, though at 10 to 12 hours each way it's a long day from Goose Creek and only a handful of families do it. Visits run by appointment. We go through the records, the microchip registration, and the guarantee in person. The method, the timing, and the fee all get sorted on a call once your puppy is reserved.
