Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Elyria, OH
Why Yorkies Have Our Hearts
Everyone at The Puppy House has a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies. Yorkies have a beautiful, long, silky coat, and since they shed very little, they're often recommended for people with allergies. Although Yorkies usually weigh no more than 7 pounds, their big-dog attitude can be feisty and bossy. But their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family are what really win people over. As a bonus, they love to cuddle and stay close all the time. They fit easily into most families. In the Elyria, Ohio area, reputable Yorkie breeders can be tough to find, since there are so few responsible breeders across the country. Because of this, we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Elyria. We want every family to have the chance to own a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Discover What Makes Our Puppies the Best
Breeding and raising Yorkies the right way is what we're all about at The Puppy House. Our standards go far beyond the basics. Our adult dogs come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments, and all of them are genetically tested. Each of our dogs is well cared for and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
Our puppies all go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), which involves gentle handling exercises in the first few weeks of life. We also make socialization a priority, because it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. Playtime happens in the backyard, where our puppies explore with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it's good exercise for them too.
If you're able, come visit us and pick out your puppy in person. That way, you can see our home, get to know our dogs, and meet us face to face. We put a lot of thought into placing our Yorkies, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love building new friendships, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Our puppies receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before they go home. You can trust that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to Elyria, Ohio
Coming to get the puppy
Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From Elyria the farm is 66 miles away, 1 to 2 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.
We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.

Their own veterinarian checks each puppy over after pickup and before the van leaves the driveway. Reserve before noon on Monday and it usually runs that week.
Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, and Akron Canton Regional Airport, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
