Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Lancaster, PA
Here's What We Love About Yorkies
At The Puppy House, the Yorkshire Terrier, or Yorkie, holds a special place in our hearts. Yorkies have a beautiful, long, silky coat that sheds very little, and they're often suggested for people with allergies. Small as they are at 7 pounds or less, Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But it's their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family that really win people over. Their love of snuggling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. Yorkies fit right in with most families. Searching for a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Lancaster, Pennsylvania area can be challenging, given how few responsible breeders there are nationwide. Because of this, we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Lancaster. We're committed to giving every family access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can rely on.
Our Available Yorkie Puppies In Lancaster
Here's Why Our Puppies Are the Best
The Puppy House is dedicated to breeding and raising Yorkies the right way. We set our standards well above the basics. All of our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Every one of our dogs is well looked after and has plenty of space to play and socialize.
Each puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another key step, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies spend time in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs, playing and exploring together. Besides being great socialization, it gives them plenty of exercise.
We invite you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can see our home, get to know our dogs, and meet us face to face. To us, placing a Yorkie is more than a one-time sale, and we take it seriously. We love making new friends and staying in touch as our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before your puppy comes home, they receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can trust that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Yorkshire Terrier Delivery to Lancaster, Pennsylvania
Every puppy leaves from Sugarcreek, and there are three ways to get one home to Lancaster.
Farm pickup. You drive to us by appointment and take your puppy home the same day. From Lancaster that's 283 miles, about 5 to 7 hours each way. Visiting lets you see where your puppy was raised, meet us, and go over the health records, microchip registration, and guarantee at the kitchen table. When the drive is short enough to do in a day, this is the option we point Pennsylvania families toward first.
Home delivery by ground. A professional transport service drives your puppy to your door in a climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary check before departure and updates along the way. Pennsylvania sits in our regional tier, a flat $350. Transports leave on Tuesdays, and Pennsylvania destinations are usually next day arrivals, so Lancaster County families, whether in Lancaster or in , including East Hempfield PA, Manor PA, Warwick PA, East Lampeter PA, West Lampeter PA, Ephrata PA, Upper Leacock PA, Willow Street PA, West Earl PA, Leola PA, Providence PA, Leacock PA, Pequea PA, Little Britain PA, Akron PA, Colerain PA, East Drumore PA, Bart PA, Strasburg PA, Quarryville PA, Drumore PA, Rothsville PA, Gap PA, Brownstown PA, Eden PA, Intercourse PA, Atglen PA, Lampeter PA, Christiana PA, Farmersville PA, Soudersburg PA, Gordonville PA, Wakefield PA, and Bird-in-Hand PA, have their puppy within a day of departure. This is the most popular choice statewide and the one we recommend whenever the drive to us is more than you want to take on.
Flight nanny. A trained handler carries your puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands the puppy to you at baggage claim. Most of these are completed in a single day. For Lancaster, the options are Lancaster Airport, and Harrisburg International Airport. Flight nanny is quoted per flight and costs more than ground, and it needs a puppy at least eight weeks old, under 20 pounds with the carrier, a health certificate, and some flexibility if weather pushes the schedule. A Yorkie is nowhere near that weight limit, so the carrier requirement is never an issue for this breed.
Your puppy travels with a bag of the food it has been eating. Whichever method you pick, the timing and the fee get confirmed on a call rather than at checkout.
