Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Canton, OH
Why We Adore Yorkies
Everyone at The Puppy House has a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies. Known for their beautiful, long, silky coat, Yorkies shed very little and are often recommended for people with allergies. A Yorkie typically weighs 7 pounds or less but has a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the close bond they build with their family. Plus, they love cuddling and staying close all the time, which makes them even more special. They're well suited to most families. Because responsible breeders are so rare across the country, finding a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Canton, Ohio area can be tough. This is exactly why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Canton. Every family deserves a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

See Why Our Puppies Are the Best
At The Puppy House, we're committed to breeding and raising Yorkies the right way. We hold our program to standards well beyond the basics. Each of our adult dogs is genetically tested and comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Every one of our dogs is well cared for, and each has plenty of room to play and socialize.
All our puppies receive Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises we do in the first few weeks of life. Socialization matters just as much, since it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. They spend time in the backyard playing and exploring with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it's good exercise for them too.
We invite you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can see our home, meet our dogs, and get to know us face to face. We take placing our Yorkies seriously, since to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love building new friendships, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Each puppy gets their first round of vaccinations and a thorough exam from a veterinarian before going home. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.
Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to Canton, Ohio
Coming to get the puppy
Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From Canton the farm is 25 miles away, 1 to 2 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.
We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.
Home delivery
If the drive genuinely doesn't work, home delivery to Canton, to , including Plain OH, Osnaburg OH, Sandy OH, Lake Mohawk OH, North OH, East Canton OH, Rose OH, Malvern OH, Magnolia OH, Waynesburg OH, East Sparta OH, Scio OH, Mineral City OH, and Meyers Lake OH, or anywhere else in Stark County is $250, which is the lowest rate we charge anywhere. Your puppy travels with a pet delivery service in a climate controlled van, in a carrier of its own, and there are always two drivers so somebody is with the puppies the whole way. Their own veterinarian checks each puppy over after pickup and before the van leaves the driveway. Reserve before noon on Monday and it usually runs that week.
Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at Akron Canton Regional Airport, and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
