Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in West Palm Beach, FL

See Why We Love Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies, have a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. The breed is often recommended for people with allergies thanks to its long, beautiful, silky coat that sheds very little. Even at 7 pounds or less, Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can come across as feisty and bossy. Still, it's their sweet nature and the deep bond they share with their family that win most people over. Even better, they love to cuddle and stay close all the time. They tend to fit right in with most families. It can be challenging to find reputable Yorkie breeders in the West Palm Beach, Florida area, since responsible breeders are few and far between across the country. That's why we're so proud to offer our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in West Palm Beach. Our hope is that every family can have a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.
Our Available Yorkie Puppies In West Palm Beach
Why Our Puppies Are a Cut Above
At The Puppy House, we do things the right way when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. We expect much more from ourselves than the basics. Every adult dog we own is genetically tested and comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have all the room they need to play and socialize.
We put every puppy through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important step, laying the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. They play and explore in our backyard with kids, adults, and our vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and they get lots of exercise along the way.
We invite you to come visit and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can meet us face to face and see our home and our dogs. We take placing our Yorkies to heart, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends along the way, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before going home, each puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can rest assured that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Getting Your Puppy From Sugarcreek to West Palm Beach, Florida
Families are welcome to pick up in person at the farm by appointment. From West Palm Beach that means 956 miles on the road and 18 to 20 hours of driving each way, a two day trip for most Floridians. The families who make it come for the visit as much as the puppy, since it's the one way to walk the property, meet the parent dogs, and go over the health records and microchip registration face to face.
Ground transport is what most Florida families use. A professional pet transport service drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, with an individual carrier, a veterinary check before departure, and updates along the way. Transport leaves Sugarcreek on Tuesdays, and Florida runs take two to three days depending on the route and the stops before yours. Florida falls in our regional pricing tier at a flat $350, which is the same fee we charge Pennsylvania and Georgia even though the drive is several times longer. That rate covers West Palm Beach, , including Riviera Beach FL, Westgate FL, Palm Beach FL, and Schall Circle FL, and any other address in Palm Beach County.
Flight nanny is the answer when you want the puppy home fast. A trained handler carries the puppy in the cabin, never in cargo, and hands it to you at baggage claim. Most of these deliveries finish the same day. For West Palm Beach, nannies fly into Palm Beach International Airport, and Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport. The puppy needs to be at least eight weeks old, under 20 pounds including the carrier, and traveling with a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian, plus some flexibility on your end if weather pushes a flight. Cost is quoted per flight rather than by tier. The farther down the peninsula you are, the faster the driving miles pile up, and the extra money can buy back a full day.
Two things about this breed are worth knowing before travel day. A grown Yorkshire Terrier tops out around seven pounds, so the 20 pound in cabin limit is never a problem, and a puppy this small can dip low on blood sugar after a long day of travel. Small frequent meals in the first days home are the fix, and we go over that with you before your puppy leaves. If you're meeting a nanny at an airport in July, park close and get the carrier into air conditioning quickly rather than letting it sit in a hot garage.
