Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Thomasville, NC
See Why We Adore Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, often called Yorkies, hold a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. People with allergies are often pointed toward Yorkies, since their beautiful, long, silky coat sheds very little. A Yorkie typically weighs 7 pounds or less but has a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. What really wins people over, though, is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of cuddling and being close by all the time is the icing on the cake. They quickly become part of most families. If you live in the Thomasville, North Carolina area, finding a reputable Yorkie breeder can be challenging, since there are so few responsible breeders nationwide. That's why we're so proud to offer our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Thomasville. We want every family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

What Makes Our Puppies Special
At The Puppy House, we believe in doing things the right way when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. We set our standards well above the basics. Our adult dogs are all genetically tested, and they come from strong bloodlines known for wonderful temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have lots of space to play and socialize.
Our puppies each go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important piece, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. Playtime happens in the backyard, where our puppies explore with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, plus it gives them plenty of exercise.
If you're able to, we'd love for you to visit and choose your puppy in person. That way, you can see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We're serious about placing our Yorkies, and for us it's more than a one-time sale. Our favorite part is making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
All of our puppies get their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before they go home. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.
Puppy Delivery to Thomasville, North Carolina by Road, Air, or Farm Pickup
Ground transport carries most North Carolina puppies home. It's the option we suggest first for Thomasville. A professional pet transport service carries the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in its own carrier, with a vet check before it leaves and updates as it travels. North Carolina sits in our regional pricing tier, so the flat fee is $350, in Thomasville and in , including High Point NC, Asheboro NC, Lexington NC, Trinity NC, and Denton NC alike. Vans leave Sugarcreek on Tuesdays, and at 329 miles from the farm your address is an early stop on the route, which usually means the puppy is in your arms the following day rather than three days later.
Flight nanny is the faster choice and is quoted per flight rather than at a flat rate. A trained handler carries the puppy in the cabin the entire time, never in cargo, and hands the puppy to you at baggage claim, almost always the same day. The easiest arrivals for Davidson County families are Piedmont Triad International Airport, and Concord-Padgett Regional Airport. A Yorkie makes this simple on the paperwork side, since the airline limit is 20 pounds including the carrier and an eight week old Yorkshire Terrier is nowhere near that. We arrange the health certificate before travel.
Farm pickup is the third option. The drive from Thomasville is 6 to 8 hours each way, and a fair number of North Carolina families treat it as a weekend. Come to Sugarcreek by appointment, meet the puppy where it grew up, and we go through vaccination records, microchip registration, and the guarantee at the kitchen table. You leave with a bag of the food the puppy has been eating, a toy, and a blanket that smells like the litter.
The method, the timing, and the fee all get confirmed on a phone call after a puppy is reserved.
