Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Taunton, MA
Find Out What We Adore About Yorkies
At The Puppy House, Yorkshire Terriers, known to most people as Yorkies, have a special place in our hearts. Along with their beautiful, long, silky coat, Yorkies shed very little, so they're often recommended for people with allergies. Despite typically weighing 7 pounds or less, Yorkies carry a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. Yet what really wins people over is their sweet disposition and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of cuddling and staying right by your side is the icing on the cake. They make a great fit for most families. It's not always easy to find reputable Yorkie breeders in the Taunton, Massachusetts area, because responsible breeders are scarce across the country. That's why we're proud to offer families in Taunton our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies. We want every family to find a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Discover Why Our Puppies Are the Best
When it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies, The Puppy House does things the right way. We go above and beyond the basics. Our adult dogs come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments, and all of them are genetically tested. Our dogs are well cared for and have lots of space to play and socialize.
Each puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Next comes socialization, another important step that lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. The puppies get to play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This is a great way for them to socialize, and they get plenty of exercise too.
If you can, we'd love for you to come see us and pick out your puppy in person. It's a chance to see our home, meet our dogs, and get to know us face to face. We're careful about placing our Yorkies, and for us it's always more than a one-time sale. We enjoy gaining new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before your puppy comes home, they receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can trust that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Getting a Yorkie Puppy Home to Taunton, Massachusetts
There are three ways home, and for most families in Taunton the choice comes down to the first two.
Ground delivery is what we recommend for Massachusetts. A professional transport service drives your puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, with an individual carrier, a pre transport vet check, and updates along the way. The fee is a flat $350 for Massachusetts, in Taunton and in , including Bridgewater MA, Raynham MA, Freetown MA, Dighton MA, Berkley MA, and Raynham Center MA alike. Vans leave Sugarcreek on Tuesdays, and East Coast routes usually run next day, so most families are holding their puppy within about three days of departure. Door to door matters more here than people expect, because it means nobody in Bristol County is circling an airport for parking or timing a drive around summer traffic.
Flight nanny is the fastest option. A trained handler carries your puppy in the cabin, never in cargo, in an airline approved soft carrier under the seat, and hands the puppy over at baggage claim. Most are over inside a single day. For Taunton, the arrival airports we work with are New Bedford Regional Airport, and Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport. The puppy needs to be at least eight weeks old, under twenty pounds with the carrier, and traveling with a vet issued health certificate, which is never a problem for a Yorkie. Flight nanny costs more than ground and is quoted per flight.
Farm pickup is open to anyone willing to make the drive. Taunton is 557 miles from Sugarcreek, and 10 to 12 hours each way turns it into a full weekend. Some Massachusetts families do it anyway because they want to see where the puppy was raised and go through the health records, microchip registration, and guarantee at the kitchen table. You'd head home with a small bag of the food the puppy has been eating, a toy, and a blanket that smells like the litter. We settle the method, the timing, and the fee on a call rather than at checkout.
