Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Scottsdale, AZ

Why We Love Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, commonly known as Yorkies, hold a special place in the hearts of everyone at The Puppy House. The breed is often recommended for people with allergies thanks to its long, beautiful, silky coat that sheds very little. Although they typically weigh 7 pounds or less, Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But it's their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family that really win people over. Their love of cuddling and being close by all the time is the icing on the cake. They adapt well to most families. Reputable Yorkie breeders are hard to come by in the Scottsdale, Arizona area, since there are so few responsible breeders nationwide. That's why we're so proud to offer our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Scottsdale. We're committed to giving every family access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can rely on.

Learn Why Our Puppies Are the Best
At The Puppy House, we're committed to breeding and raising Yorkies the right way. We go above and beyond the basics. We genetically test all of our adult dogs, and each one comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are all well cared for and have plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy receives Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), which is a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Another important step is socialization, which helps shape good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies play and explore outside in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. They get great socialization this way, along with plenty of exercise.
We invite you to stop by and pick out your puppy in person if you can. Visiting lets you see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We treat placing our Yorkies as more than a one-time sale, and we take it seriously. We enjoy gaining new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before going home, every puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can trust that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Getting a Yorkie Puppy to Scottsdale, Arizona
There are three ways to bring a puppy home to Scottsdale, and we settle on one by phone after the puppy is reserved rather than at checkout.
Flight nanny. For Scottsdale this is usually the one we point families toward. A trained handler carries the puppy in the cabin of a commercial flight, under the seat in an airline approved soft carrier, never in cargo. Most of these trips finish the same day. A Yorkshire Terrier weighs four to seven pounds full grown, so a puppy plus carrier sits far under the 20 pound cabin limit, which makes this breed one of the easiest to fly. The puppy needs to be at least eight weeks old and have a health certificate from a licensed vet, both of which we arrange. For Maricopa County families, nannies fly into Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, and Mesa Gateway Airport, and the handoff happens at baggage claim. Pricing is quoted per flight since it follows airfare.
Home delivery by ground. A professional transport service drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, with an individual carrier, a pre trip vet check, and updates along the way. Arizona falls in our national tier at a flat $450, and that's the price in Scottsdale as well as in , including Fountain Hills AZ, and Paradise Valley AZ. Transports leave on Tuesdays, and with 1729 miles of road between the farm and your door, the run usually takes two to three days depending on the route. The van stays cool the whole way, which matters more here than almost anywhere.
Pickup in Sugarcreek. You're welcome to come get the puppy yourself by appointment. It's 34 to 36 hours of driving from Scottsdale, so nobody does it as a simple errand, but a few families build it into a trip east and like walking the property and going through the health records at the kitchen table.
There's one Arizona specific thing to plan for. Yorkie puppies can drop low on blood sugar after a stressful day of travel, so plan on a small meal soon after the handoff and a few more that first day, and keep water in front of the puppy. Between the desert heat and dry air, that first evening at home should be quiet and indoors.
