Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Rochester, MN
Find Out Why Yorkies Mean So Much to Us
Yorkshire Terriers, or Yorkies as most people call them, are near and dear to our hearts at The Puppy House. This low-shedding breed has a long, beautiful, silky coat and is often recommended for people with allergies. Don't let their size fool you. Yorkies typically weigh 7 pounds or less, but they have a feisty, bossy, big-dog attitude. But what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the close bond they build with their family. And their love of cuddling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. They fit right in with most families. Given how few responsible breeders there are across the country, finding reputable Yorkie breeders in the Rochester, Minnesota area can be difficult. That's why we take great pride in bringing our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Rochester. We want every family to find a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

What Makes Our Yorkie Puppies the Best
At The Puppy House, we pride ourselves on breeding and raising Yorkies the right way. Our standards go well past the bare minimum. Our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines with great temperaments. Every dog here gets great care and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
Our puppies all go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), which involves gentle handling exercises in the first few weeks of life. We also focus on socialization, which lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. They spend time in the backyard playing and exploring with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it's a fun way for them to get exercise too.
If you can, we'd love for you to come see us and pick out your puppy in person. You'll get to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. To us, placing a Yorkie is more than a one-time sale, and we take it seriously. We love meeting new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our puppies grow up in loving homes.
Each puppy has their first round of vaccinations and a full veterinary exam before going home. You can rest assured that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.

For Rochester families, our flights land at Rochester International Airport, and La Crosse Regional Airport. Cabin travel has a twenty pound limit including the carrier, which a Yorkshire Terrier puppy clears with room to spare. Flights are quoted individually and cost more than ground. One thing worth planning around is that January and February weather in Minnesota can push a flight a day, so we ask families to keep a little flexibility in the schedule.
Pickup at the farm is open to anyone by appointment. From Rochester the drive is 11 to 13 hours, which means an overnight each way. Families who make the trip get to see the facility, meet the parents, and go over the health records and microchip registration in person. For most Minnesota buyers, ground transport is the sensible pick, with flight nanny worth the extra money if you're close to the airport and don't want to wait out the drive. Whichever way you go, we settle the method, the timing, and the fee on a phone call after the puppy is reserved.
