Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Rochester Hills, MI
Discover the Reasons We Adore Yorkies
At The Puppy House, the Yorkshire Terrier, or Yorkie, holds a special place in our hearts. Yorkies have a long, beautiful, silky coat and are often recommended for people with allergies because they shed very little. Most Yorkies weigh 7 pounds or less, but their big-dog attitude can be feisty and bossy. Still, their sweet nature and the deep connection they form with their family are what really win people over. Then there's their love of cuddling and staying close all the time, which is the icing on the cake. They settle into most family homes with ease. Searching for a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Rochester Hills, Michigan area can be challenging, given how few responsible breeders there are nationwide. This is exactly why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Rochester Hills. We believe every family deserves access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Find Out Why Our Puppies Stand Out
At The Puppy House, we make sure our Yorkies are bred and raised the right way. We go above and beyond the basics. All of our adult dogs are genetically tested, and they come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. We take good care of our dogs and give them plenty of room to play and socialize.
From the start, every puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Next comes socialization, another important step that lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. The puppies play and explore in our backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great for their social skills, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
Feel free to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. This gives you a chance to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. For us, placing a Yorkie is a serious commitment and more than a one-time sale. We love keeping in touch with the new friends we make and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before any puppy goes home, they receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can rest assured that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Getting a Yorkie Puppy Home to Rochester Hills, Michigan
Three ways work here, and which one we suggest for Rochester Hills mostly comes down to how you feel about the drive.
Pickup at the farm is free and it's the option we point Michigan families toward first. The drive is short by our standards. From Rochester Hills it's 169 miles, which works out to 2 to 4 hours each way. You get to see where the puppy was raised, go over the vaccination records and microchip registration at the table, and drive home with the puppy in your lap rather than in a van.
Home delivery by ground is our most popular option. It costs a flat $350 anywhere in Michigan, so a Oakland County address pays the same whether it's in Rochester Hills or out in , including Troy MI, Shelby MI, Oakland MI, and Rochester MI. A professional transport service drives door to door in a climate controlled van, the puppy travels in an individual carrier after a pre transport vet check, and you get updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays, and most families are holding their puppy within about three days of departure, often sooner given how short the run north is.
Flight nanny is the fast option and gets quoted per flight. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin the whole way, never in cargo, and hands it to you at baggage claim, usually the same day. Yorkies make this easy because a puppy and an airline approved soft carrier together come nowhere near the twenty pound cabin limit. Rochester Hills families would meet the nanny at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, and Bishop International Airport. Health certificates are arranged before travel, and weather delays are worth planning around in winter.
