Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Perinton, NY
Learn What We Adore About Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, commonly known as Yorkies, hold a special place in the hearts of everyone at The Puppy House. The breed's long, silky coat is beautiful and sheds very little, so Yorkies are often recommended for people with allergies. Yorkies may be small, typically weighing 7 pounds or less, but they have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But the biggest reason people fall in love with them is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of snuggling and sticking close all the time is the cherry on top. Yorkies adapt easily to most families. Because responsible breeders are so rare across the country, finding a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Perinton, New York area can be tough. This is why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Perinton. Every family deserves a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Find Out Why Our Puppies Are the Best
When it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies, The Puppy House does things the right way. Our standards go much further than the basics. Each of our adult dogs is genetically tested and comes from strong bloodlines with a history of great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for, with plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy starts out with Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done over the first few weeks. Another important step is socialization, which helps shape good behavior and habits as they grow. In the backyard, our puppies play and explore with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great for their social skills, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
If it works for you, we invite you to visit and pick out your puppy in person. You'll be able to look around our home, see our dogs, and meet us face to face. We're careful about placing our Yorkies, and for us it's always more than a one-time sale. Nothing makes us happier than making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Each puppy gets their first round of vaccinations and a thorough exam from a veterinarian before going home. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.
Yorkshire Terrier Delivery to Perinton, New York
There are three ways to get your puppy home to Perinton, and we settle on one during a phone call after the deposit is in.
Farm pickup in Sugarcreek. New York is one of the states where driving out makes sense for a lot of families. From Perinton you're looking at 5 to 7 hours each way, 281 miles on the road. You get to see the facility, meet the parents, and go over the health records and microchip registration at the kitchen table. Visits are by appointment.
Ground delivery. A professional pet transport service drives your puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in its own carrier, with updates along the way. New York is a flat $350. Transport leaves on Tuesdays, and New York is an early stop on the eastern route, so most families here are holding their puppy the next day. That matters more than it sounds for this breed, since a Yorkshire Terrier has a single silky coat with no undercoat and not much defense against a cold February morning. The van stays temperature controlled the whole way. Around Monroe County the driver also delivers to , including Penfield NY, Pittsford NY, Farmington NY, Arcadia NY, Canandaigua NY, Macedon NY, Newark NY, Lyons NY, Fairport NY, Jerusalem NY, Gorham NY, Hopewell NY, East Bloomfield NY, Palmyra NY, Benton NY, Victor NY, Seneca NY, Bristol NY, Clifton Springs NY, Prattsburgh NY, Phelps NY, Potter NY, Manchester NY, South Bristol NY, Middlesex NY, Shortsville NY, Bloomfield NY, Italy NY, Keuka Park NY, Naples NY, Avoca NY, Crystal Beach NY, and Rushville NY, and the whole arrangement suits anyone who would rather not deal with an airport.
Flight nanny. A trained handler carries your puppy in the cabin, under the seat in an airline approved soft carrier, and never in cargo. Most flights are done same day. For Perinton, we meet families at baggage claim at Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport, and Ithaca Tompkins Regional Airport. Yorkshire Terriers clear the twenty pound carrier limit without any trouble at four to seven pounds, so the breed is about as easy as it gets on a plane. We arrange the health certificate before travel, and the puppy has to be at least eight weeks old. Cost runs above ground delivery and is quoted per flight.
What we suggest for Perinton. If 5 to 7 hours each way is a day you can spare, come get the puppy yourself. It's a pretty drive. You'll learn more in an hour at the farm than in a dozen text messages. If that's more road than you want, ground delivery at $350 is the sensible choice. Flight nanny is for families who want the puppy in their arms in a matter of hours.
