Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Oxford, OH
What We Love About Yorkies
At The Puppy House, we have a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, better known as Yorkies. Yorkies have a beautiful, long, silky coat, and since they shed very little, they're often recommended for people with allergies. Yorkies generally weigh 7 pounds or less, yet they carry themselves with a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But what truly wins people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of snuggling and sticking close all the time is the cherry on top. They make a great fit for most families. Tracking down a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Oxford, Ohio area can be challenging, since responsible breeders are so rare across the country. That's what makes us so proud to offer our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Oxford. We want every family to have a healthy, well-raised puppy they can rely on.

Learn What Makes Our Puppies the Best
At The Puppy House, we don't cut corners when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. Our standards go well beyond the basics. Every adult dog in our program is genetically tested and comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have plenty of room to play and socialize.
All of our puppies go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Another important step is socialization, which lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies spend time playing and exploring in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This is great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
If you can make the trip, we invite you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person. That way, you can see our home and our dogs for yourself and meet us face to face. To us, placing a Yorkie is more than a one-time sale, and we take it seriously. We love making new friends, checking in over the years, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before any puppy goes home, they receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can rest assured that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to Oxford, Ohio
Coming to get the puppy
Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From Oxford the farm is 178 miles away, 3 to 5 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.
We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.

Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport, and Cincinnati Municipal Airport Lunken Field, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
