Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in O'Fallon, IL
Learn Why Yorkies Are So Special to Us
Few breeds are as close to our hearts at The Puppy House as the Yorkshire Terrier, also known as the Yorkie. Yorkies have a long, beautiful, silky coat and are often recommended for people with allergies because they shed very little. Yorkies usually tip the scales at 7 pounds or less, yet they have a feisty, bossy, big-dog attitude. But what wins people's hearts is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of snuggling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. They're well suited to most families. Searching for a reputable Yorkie breeder in the O'Fallon, Illinois area can be challenging, given how few responsible breeders there are nationwide. That's why it means so much to us to offer our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in O'Fallon. It matters to us that every family has access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

What Makes Our Puppies a Cut Above
At The Puppy House, we always do things the right way when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. For us, the basics are only the starting point. All the adult dogs in our program are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. We give our dogs great care and plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy receives Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), which is a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another key step, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. Playtime happens in the backyard, where our puppies explore with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it keeps them active too.
We invite you to come visit and pick out your puppy in person if you can. This gives you a chance to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. For us, placing a Yorkie is a serious commitment and more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Each puppy gets their first round of vaccinations and a thorough exam from a veterinarian before going home. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.

Transport leaves on Tuesdays. At $350 flat, Illinois sits in our regional tier, and since the state is one of the nearer stops heading west, most families have their puppy within a day or two of departure rather than the full three. Flight nanny. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands it over at baggage claim. It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight, since the price depends on the route and the date. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under twenty pounds including the carrier, which no Yorkshire Terrier gets anywhere near, and we arrange the health certificate beforehand. Winter delays are worth planning around if you're flying a puppy into Illinois in January.
