Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Medina, OH
What We Love About Yorkies
At The Puppy House, we have a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, better known as Yorkies. Known for their beautiful, long, silky coat, Yorkies shed very little and are often recommended for people with allergies. Despite typically weighing 7 pounds or less, Yorkies carry a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family are what really win people over. Their love of cuddling and always staying close is the icing on the cake. They settle into most family homes with ease. Tracking down a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Medina, Ohio area can be challenging, since responsible breeders are so rare across the country. That's why we take real pride in providing our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Medina. We want every family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Find Out What Makes Our Puppies the Best
Breeding and raising Yorkies the right way is what we're all about at The Puppy House. We go far beyond the minimum standards. Each of our adult dogs is genetically tested and comes from strong bloodlines with a history of great temperaments. Our dogs get great care and plenty of room to play and socialize.
Our puppies each go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization matters just as much, since it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. The puppies play and explore in our backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's excellent socialization, and it gives them lots of exercise as well.
We'd love for you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. Visiting lets you see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take placing our Yorkies with families seriously, and it's more than a one-time sale to us. We love making new friends, keeping in touch, and seeing our puppies grow up in loving homes.
Each puppy leaves with their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam completed. You can trust that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to Medina, Ohio
Coming to get the puppy
Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From Medina the farm is 46 miles away, 1 to 2 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.
We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.

Their own veterinarian checks each puppy over after pickup and before the van leaves the driveway. Reserve before noon on Monday and it usually runs that week.
Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, and Akron Canton Regional Airport, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
