Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Jacksonville, NC
Learn Why We Adore Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, often called Yorkies, hold a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. Yorkies have a long, beautiful, silky coat and are often recommended for people with allergies because they shed very little. Even at 7 pounds or less, Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can come across as feisty and bossy. But what wins people's hearts is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of snuggling up and staying by your side is the icing on the cake. They settle into most family homes with ease. Since there are so few responsible breeders across the country, finding reputable Yorkie breeders in the Jacksonville, North Carolina area can be challenging. That's why offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Jacksonville is something we take great pride in. We want every family to have a healthy, well-raised puppy they can rely on.

What Makes Our Puppies Stand Out
At The Puppy House, we believe in doing things the right way when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. Our standards go well beyond the basics. All of our adult dogs have been genetically tested, and each comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have lots of space to play and socialize.
We put every puppy through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important piece, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This helps with socialization and gives them plenty of exercise too.
Feel free to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That gives you the chance to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take placing each Yorkie seriously, and we see it as more than a one-time sale. We enjoy making new friends, staying in touch, and seeing our pups grow up in loving homes.
Each puppy leaves with their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam completed. You can trust that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Puppy Delivery to Jacksonville, North Carolina by Road, Air, or Farm Pickup
Ground transport carries most North Carolina puppies home. It's the option we suggest first for Jacksonville. A professional pet transport service carries the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in its own carrier, with a vet check before it leaves and updates as it travels. North Carolina sits in our regional pricing tier, so the flat fee is $350, in Jacksonville and in , including New Bern NC, Piney Green NC, Half Moon NC, Swansboro NC, Holly Ridge NC, Sneads Ferry NC, Surf City NC, Cape Carteret NC, Richlands NC, Pumpkin Center NC, Cedar Point NC, Beulaville NC, Maysville NC, North Topsail Beach NC, Peletier NC, Bogue NC, Potters Hill NC, and Greenevers NC alike. Vans leave Sugarcreek on Tuesdays, and at 458 miles from the farm your address is an early stop on the route, which usually means the puppy is in your arms the following day rather than three days later.
Flight nanny is the faster choice and is quoted per flight rather than at a flat rate. A trained handler carries the puppy in the cabin the entire time, never in cargo, and hands the puppy to you at baggage claim, almost always the same day. The easiest arrivals for Onslow County families are Albert J Ellis Airport, and Coastal Carolina Regional Airport. A Yorkie makes this simple on the paperwork side, since the airline limit is 20 pounds including the carrier and an eight week old Yorkshire Terrier is nowhere near that. We arrange the health certificate before travel.
Farm pickup is the third option. The drive from Jacksonville is 8 to 10 hours each way, and a fair number of North Carolina families treat it as a weekend. Come to Sugarcreek by appointment, meet the puppy where it grew up, and we go through vaccination records, microchip registration, and the guarantee at the kitchen table. You leave with a bag of the food the puppy has been eating, a toy, and a blanket that smells like the litter.
The method, the timing, and the fee all get confirmed on a phone call after a puppy is reserved.
