Find Out Why Yorkies Are So Special to Us
Few breeds are as close to our hearts at The Puppy House as the Yorkshire Terrier, also known as the Yorkie. This breed has a beautiful, long, silky coat and sheds very little, which is why it's often recommended for people with allergies. Even at 7 pounds or less, Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can come across as feisty and bossy. But it's their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family that really win people over. The fact that they love to cuddle and stay close all the time is the icing on the cake. They fit right in with most families. It can be challenging to find reputable Yorkie breeders in the Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota area, since responsible breeders are few and far between across the country. Because of this, we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Inver Grove Heights. We want every family to have a healthy, well-raised puppy they can rely on.

What Makes Our Puppies a Cut Above
At The Puppy House, we always do things the right way when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. Our standards reach well past the basics. Our adult dogs are all genetically tested, and they come from strong bloodlines known for wonderful temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy is given Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done early in life. Socialization is another important step, and it builds the foundation for good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies spend time playing and exploring in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's excellent socialization, and it gives them lots of exercise as well.
You're welcome to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can meet us face to face and see our home and our dogs. We put a lot of thought into placing our Yorkies, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends, staying in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before they go home, all of our puppies receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can trust that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
