Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Hobbs, NM
Discover What We Love About Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, or Yorkies for short, have a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. Yorkies are often recommended for people with allergies because their long, beautiful, silky coat sheds very little. They may be tiny, typically weighing 7 pounds or less, but Yorkies have a feisty, bossy, big-dog attitude. Still, it's their sweet nature and the deep bond they share with their family that win most people over. Their love of snuggling up and staying by your side is the icing on the cake. They adjust easily to life with most families. In the Hobbs, New Mexico area, reputable Yorkie breeders can be tough to find, since there are so few responsible breeders across the country. This is why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Hobbs. We want to make sure every family has access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Why You'll Love Our Puppies
At The Puppy House, we take care to breed and raise our Yorkies the right way. Our standards go far beyond the basics. Our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines with a reputation for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have all the room they need to play and socialize.
We put every puppy through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Another important step is socialization, which helps shape good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies spend time playing and exploring in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. They get great socialization this way, along with plenty of exercise.
We encourage you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you get to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We're serious about placing our Yorkies, and for us it's more than a one-time sale. Our favorite part is making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before your puppy comes home, they receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can trust that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Yorkie Puppy Delivery Options for Hobbs, New Mexico Families
There are three ways to get a puppy home. Pickup at the farm in Sugarcreek is the first, by appointment, and a few families do build it into a longer trip east. From Hobbs it's 1304 miles and 25 to 27 hours of driving one way, so most people choose one of the other two.
Home delivery by ground is the option we point most New Mexico families toward. A professional service drives door to door in a climate controlled van, one carrier per puppy, with a veterinary check before departure and messages along the route. Transport leaves on Tuesdays, and this part of the country usually takes two to three days on the road. The fee is a flat $450 for New Mexico. It works well here because of the size of the state. Nobody has to spend hours driving to an airport, and the price doesn't change based on which town you live in, so it's $450 in Hobbs, $450 in , including Carlsbad NM, Lovington NM, Seminole TX, North Hobbs NM, Denver City TX, Eunice NM, Seagraves TX, Jal NM, Plains TX, and Tatum NM, and $450 anywhere else in Lea County.
Flight nanny is the faster choice. A trained handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, in a soft carrier under the seat, with photos and video along the way and the handoff at baggage claim. Most of them are done by evening. The practical arrival airports for Hobbs are Lea County Regional Airport, and Cavern City Air Terminal. A health certificate is arranged before travel, and the puppy needs to be at least eight weeks old and under twenty pounds including the carrier, which is not a concern with a breed that tops out around seven. Flight nanny is quoted per flight rather than by state.
Either way, there's one thing to plan for. A young toy breed puppy can run low on blood sugar after a stretch of travel, so keep the first day at home quiet and feed small meals every few hours. The method, the timing, and the cost all get confirmed on a call once a puppy is reserved.
