Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Greeley, CO
Why We Adore Yorkies
Everyone at The Puppy House has a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies. Yorkies have a long, beautiful, silky coat and are often recommended for people with allergies because they shed very little. Small as they are at 7 pounds or less, Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. Still, what wins most people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of snuggling up and staying by your side is the icing on the cake. They settle in easily with most families. Since there are so few responsible breeders across the country, finding reputable Yorkie breeders in the Greeley, Colorado area can be challenging. That's exactly why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkie puppies to families in Greeley. We want each family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can trust.

See Why Our Puppies Are the Best
At The Puppy House, we're committed to breeding and raising Yorkies the right way. The bar we set for ourselves is well above the basics. Each of our adult dogs is genetically tested and comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have plenty of room to run, play, and socialize.
During their first few weeks, our puppies go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises. We also make socialization a priority, because it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. They spend time in the backyard playing and exploring with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This is great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
Whenever possible, we invite you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person. That way, you can tour our home, see our dogs, and meet us face to face. We take placing our Yorkies seriously, since to us it's more than a one-time sale. We enjoy making new friends, staying in touch, and seeing our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before going home, each puppy is given their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.
A Flat $450 Gets a Yorkie Puppy to Greeley, Colorado
Home delivery by ground
This is what most Greeley families use. A professional pet delivery service picks your puppy up here on Tuesday morning and drives it to your door in a climate controlled van, riding in a carrier of its own. Every van runs two drivers, so somebody is with the puppies the whole way out. The service keeps its own veterinarian, who looks each puppy over after pickup and before the van pulls away, and the driver checks in along the route and calls with an arrival time as it gets close.
That week's schedule closes at noon on Monday. The rate is $450 to any Colorado address, and it doesn't rise with the mileage. Greeley is 1210 miles from Sugarcreek, and a van already working Weld County covers , including Evans CO, Eaton CO, Ault CO, and Pierce CO without adding much distance, which is why every one of those addresses pays the same.
Flight nanny
A trained handler carries the puppy in the cabin, never in cargo, in a soft carrier under the seat, and hands it to you at baggage claim. Most of these finish the same day. For Greeley, we would route the flight into Denver International Airport, and Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport. Flights run between $750 and $1,200 depending on the route and the airline. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old, under 20 pounds with the carrier, and traveling on a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian.
Pickup at the farm
Pickup is free and always open to you, by appointment. 23 to 25 hours behind the wheel from Greeley is a lot to ask of anyone, so almost nobody drives it, and the families who do are usually heading east for another reason. Visits get scheduled so the time is set aside for you properly rather than squeezed between chores. We're closed Sundays, and anything left with us then gets answered Monday.
One thing about the breed matters on a run this long. Yorkie puppies are small enough that a missed meal can drop their blood sugar, so the drivers feed on a schedule rather than waiting for a rest stop, and we ask you to keep to three or four small meals a day once the puppy is home.
