Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Florence, SC
Find Out Why Yorkies Are So Special to Us
At The Puppy House, Yorkshire Terriers, often simply called Yorkies, are very close to our hearts. Yorkies have a beautiful, long, silky coat that sheds very little, and they're often suggested for people with allergies. Even though most Yorkies weigh 7 pounds or less, they often act like big dogs, with an attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But it's their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family that really win people over. The icing on the cake is their love of cuddling and staying close all the time. They tend to fit right in with most families. In the Florence, South Carolina area, reputable Yorkie breeders can be tough to find, since there are so few responsible breeders across the country. Because of this, we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Florence. Every family should have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on, and that's what we're here to provide.

What Makes Our Puppies a Cut Above
At The Puppy House, we always do things the right way when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. We go well beyond the basic standards. Our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines with great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have lots of space to play and socialize.
In the first few weeks of life, every puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises. Next comes socialization, another important step that lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies enjoy playing and exploring in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This gives them great socialization and plenty of exercise at the same time.
We invite you to visit and choose your puppy in person whenever possible. That way, you can see where your puppy was raised, spend time with our dogs, and meet us face to face. We take placing our Yorkies seriously, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends, checking in over the years, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Each puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before going home. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.
Getting a Yorkie Puppy to Florence, South Carolina: Pickup, Ground, and Flight Nanny
Most Florence families choose home delivery. A professional pet transport service moves the puppy door to door in a custom climate controlled van, with its own carrier, a veterinary check before leaving, and updates on the way. Transport leaves Sugarcreek on Tuesdays and the flat fee to South Carolina is $350, the same in Florence as in , including Rockingham NC, Hartsville SC, Bennettsville SC, Lake City SC, Hamlet NC, Dillon SC, Marion SC, Darlington SC, Cheraw SC, East Rockingham NC, Kingstree SC, North Hartsville SC, Timmonsville SC, McColl SC, Cordova NC, Latta SC, Pamplico SC, Laurel Hill NC, Rowland NC, Lamar SC, Quinby SC, Scranton SC, Dobbins Heights NC, Coward SC, Wallace SC, Clio SC, Olanta SC, and Society Hill SC. Since Florence is 447 miles from the farm, puppies headed your way usually arrive early in the run rather than at the end of it, and most families have theirs within about three days of departure. The climate controlled van earns its keep on this route more than on most.
Flight nanny moves faster. A trained handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, in an airline approved soft carrier under the seat, and hands the puppy over at baggage claim. Most finish inside one day. Families in Florence County fly their puppies into Florence Regional Airport, and Myrtle Beach International Airport. The puppy needs to be at least eight weeks old, under twenty pounds with the carrier, and cleared by a licensed veterinarian, which a four to seven pound Yorkshire Terrier manages without any trouble. This one is quoted per flight and costs more than ground.
Farm pickup is open to anyone willing to make the drive, though at 8 to 10 hours each way it's a long day from Florence and only a handful of families do it. Visits run by appointment. We go through the records, the microchip registration, and the guarantee in person. The method, the timing, and the fee all get sorted on a call once your puppy is reserved.
