Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Cleburne, TX
Discover Why We Love Yorkshire Terriers
Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies, are a breed we really love at The Puppy House. With their long, beautiful, silky coat and very little shedding, Yorkies are often recommended for people with allergies. They may be tiny, typically weighing 7 pounds or less, but Yorkies have a feisty, bossy, big-dog attitude. But the real reason people fall for Yorkies is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. The icing on the cake is their love of cuddling and staying close all the time. For most families, a Yorkie fits right in. Searching for a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Cleburne, Texas area can be challenging, given how few responsible breeders there are nationwide. That's why we take great pride in making our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies available to families in Cleburne. We want each family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can trust.
Our Available Yorkie Puppies In Cleburne
Why Families Choose Our Yorkie Puppies
Breeding and raising Yorkies the right way matters to us at The Puppy House. Meeting the basics isn't enough for us. All of our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines that are known for great temperaments. Our dogs are all well cared for and have plenty of room to play and socialize.
Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life, is part of every puppy's routine. Socialization is another important step that lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. Our pups play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, plus it gives them plenty of exercise.
If it works for you, we invite you to visit and pick out your puppy in person. That way, you can see our home, meet our dogs, and get to know us face to face. Every Yorkie we place matters to us, and it's never just a one-time sale. We love making new friends and keeping in touch so we can watch our pups grow up in loving homes.
Every puppy has their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before going to their new home. You can rest easy knowing you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Puppy Delivery to Cleburne, Texas
Home delivery by ground transport
A professional pet transport service drives your puppy door to door in a custom climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary checkup before departure and updates along the way. Transports leave Sugarcreek on Tuesdays. Texas falls in our national pricing tier, so the fee is a flat $450 regardless of which corner of the state you live in. Cleburne is 1038 miles from the farm, and because of that distance most families here are looking at two to three days on the road rather than the next day arrival that East Coast families get. Your driver's stops in Johnson County include Cleburne along with , including Burleson TX, Hillsboro TX, Keene TX, Pecan Plantation TX, DeCordova TX, Glen Rose TX, Whitney TX, Grandview TX, Itasca TX, Godley TX, Meridian TX, Canyon Creek TX, Rio Vista TX, Walnut Springs TX, and Morgan TX.
Flight nanny
A trained handler carries your puppy in the cabin of a commercial flight, right beside them, never in cargo, and hands the puppy to you at baggage claim. The handoff usually happens the same afternoon. Texas has plenty of direct service from the Midwest, and Cleburne families usually meet their nanny at Fort Worth Meacham International Airport, and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. Flights are quoted per trip and cost more than ground transport. They also need a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian, a puppy at least eight weeks old, and a little flexibility in case weather pushes a flight. The twenty pound cabin limit including the carrier is never an issue with this breed, since a grown Yorkshire Terrier weighs four to seven pounds.
Pickup at the farm
Coming to Sugarcreek by appointment and driving the puppy home yourself is always open. From Cleburne that's 20 to 22 hours each way, a commitment of several days, so most families skip it, but the ones who make the drive get to meet the puppy where it was raised and go through the health records, the microchip registration, and the guarantee with us in person.
What we suggest for Cleburne
For most Texas addresses, ground delivery at $450 is the easy answer, and it is what we would suggest first. It ends at your front door. Nothing is asked of you but a signature. If you would rather not have a young puppy on the road for three days, the flight nanny is usually worth the extra cost. Small puppies can dip low on blood sugar when they travel, so plan on small frequent meals for the first few days home no matter which option you pick. Method, timing, and the fee all get confirmed on the phone once your puppy is reserved.
