Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Adelanto, CA
The Reasons We Love Yorkies
At The Puppy House, we have a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, better known as Yorkies. The breed is often recommended for people with allergies thanks to its long, beautiful, silky coat that sheds very little. Don't let their size fool you. Yorkies typically weigh 7 pounds or less, but they have a feisty, bossy, big-dog attitude. That said, what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Even better, they love to cuddle and stay close all the time. They slip right into family life in most homes. Reputable Yorkie breeders can be hard to find in the Adelanto, California area, since there are so few responsible breeders nationwide. That's why offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Adelanto is something we take great pride in. Our hope is that every family can have a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

See What Makes Our Puppies the Best
At The Puppy House, we don't cut corners when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. We hold ourselves to a much higher standard than the basics. Each of our adult dogs is genetically tested and comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for, with plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy is given Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done early in life. We also focus on socialization, which lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. They get plenty of time to play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great for socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
Feel free to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That gives you the chance to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. Every Yorkie we place matters to us, and it's never just a one-time sale. We love making new friends and staying in touch as our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before going home, every puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can trust that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Yorkie Puppy Delivery to Adelanto, California: Costs, Timing, and Airports
There are three ways home, and for Adelanto the choice is usually between the last two.
Farm pickup. Families are welcome in Sugarcreek by appointment. Driving it from Adelanto means 1988 miles and 39 to 41 hours behind the wheel in each direction, so the families who visit nearly always fly into Cleveland or Columbus and drive about an hour and a half out into Tuscarawas County. That only makes sense if you were coming east anyway. When it does work out, you see the property, meet the parents where possible, and we go through the vaccination records, microchip registration, and guarantee at the kitchen table. The puppy leaves with a bag of the food it has been eating, a toy, and a blanket that smells like the litter.
Ground transport. A professional pet transport service drives the puppy door to door in a custom climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary check before departure and updates from the road. The fee to California is a flat $450, whether the address is in Adelanto or in , including Phelan CA, Piñon Hills CA, Silver Lakes CA, and Boron CA. Vans leave on Tuesdays, and the West Coast run takes two to three days depending on the route, so treat any arrival window as approximate until it's confirmed by phone.
Flight nanny. This is the one we usually recommend for Adelanto. A trained handler keeps the puppy in the cabin beside them for the whole flight, never in cargo, in an airline approved soft carrier under the seat, and sends photos and video along the way. Most of these deliveries finish in a single day. Because California sits three hours behind Ohio, a morning departure often means an early afternoon handoff your time, and that handoff happens at baggage claim rather than at the gate. San Bernardino County families meet their nanny at San Bernardino International Airport, and Ontario International Airport. Flight nanny costs more than ground and is quoted per flight, since the price depends on the route and the date. The puppy needs to be at least eight weeks old, needs a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian, and needs to weigh under 20 pounds including the carrier. A Yorkshire Terrier puppy at two or three pounds isn't close to that limit, which is part of why the breed travels so well in the cabin.
Timing matters more in California than it does most places. For a midsummer arrival in Adelanto we aim for early in the day and ask you to have the car cool and a water bowl ready. Toy breed puppies also run their blood sugar down on a travel day, so a small meal soon after you get home matters more than it would with a bigger dog.
