Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Allendale, MI
What We Love About Yorkies
At The Puppy House, we have a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, better known as Yorkies. The breed's long, silky coat is beautiful and sheds very little, so Yorkies are often recommended for people with allergies. They're small, usually weighing 7 pounds or less, but Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. Still, their sweet nature and the deep connection they form with their family are what really win people over. And their love of cuddling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. Yorkies adapt easily to most families. Tracking down a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Allendale, Michigan area can be challenging, since responsible breeders are so rare across the country. That's why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Allendale. We want every family to have the chance to own a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Learn What Makes Our Puppies the Best
Breeding and raising Yorkies the right way is what we're all about at The Puppy House. We hold our program to standards well beyond the basics. All of our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have all the room they need to play and socialize.
Each puppy goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Another important step is socialization, which helps shape good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies get to play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, plus it gives them plenty of exercise.
If possible, we invite you to come visit us and choose your puppy in person. That way, you can see our home, get to know our dogs, and meet us face to face. For us, placing a Yorkie is a serious commitment and more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before any puppy goes home, they receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can bring your new Yorkie home knowing they're healthy, happy, and ready to be part of your family.
Getting a Yorkie Puppy Home to Allendale, Michigan
Three ways work here, and which one we suggest for Allendale mostly comes down to how you feel about the drive.
Pickup at the farm is free and it's the option we point Michigan families toward first. The drive is short by our standards. From Allendale it's 281 miles, which works out to 5 to 7 hours each way. You get to see where the puppy was raised, go over the vaccination records and microchip registration at the table, and drive home with the puppy in your lap rather than in a van.
Home delivery by ground is our most popular option. It costs a flat $350 anywhere in Michigan, so a Ottawa County address pays the same whether it's in Allendale or out in , including Holland MI, Blendon MI, Robinson MI, Crockery MI, Coopersville MI, Polkton MI, Moorland MI, and Ravenna MI. A professional transport service drives door to door in a climate controlled van, the puppy travels in an individual carrier after a pre transport vet check, and you get updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays, and most families are holding their puppy within about three days of departure, often sooner given how short the run north is.
Flight nanny is the fast option and gets quoted per flight. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin the whole way, never in cargo, and hands it to you at baggage claim, usually the same day. Yorkies make this easy because a puppy and an airline approved soft carrier together come nowhere near the twenty pound cabin limit. Allendale families would meet the nanny at Muskegon County Airport, and Gerald R. Ford International Airport. Health certificates are arranged before travel, and weather delays are worth planning around in winter.
