Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Crete, IL
The Reasons We Adore Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, affectionately called Yorkies, have a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. The breed's long, silky coat is beautiful and sheds very little, so Yorkies are often recommended for people with allergies. For a dog that typically weighs 7 pounds or less, the Yorkie has a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. That said, what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of cuddling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. Most families find that Yorkies fit right in. In the Crete, Illinois area, reputable Yorkie breeders can be tough to find, since there are so few responsible breeders across the country. That's why we're proud to bring our carefully bred Yorkie puppies to families in Crete. Every family should have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on, and that's what we're here to provide.

Discover What Sets Our Puppies Apart
At The Puppy House, we don't cut corners when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. The bar we set for ourselves is well above the basics. Each of our adult dogs is genetically tested and comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have plenty of room to run, play, and socialize.
Our puppies go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done during the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another key step, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies get to play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
We invite you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. During your visit, you can see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. Placing our Yorkies in new homes is something we take seriously, and it's more than a one-time sale for us. We love keeping in touch with the new friends we make and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Every puppy gets their first round of shots and a thorough veterinary exam before going home. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.
Yorkie Puppy Delivery to Crete, Illinois, and What Each Option Costs
Pickup in Sugarcreek. Collect the puppy yourself, by appointment. From Crete that's 5 to 7 hours each way. Families who make the drive see where the puppy was raised and go over the vaccination records, microchip registration, and health guarantee in person.
Home delivery by ground. Most Illinois families take this option, and it's the one we would suggest for almost any address in Will County. A professional transport service drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary check before departure and updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays. At $350 flat, Illinois sits in our regional tier, and since the state is one of the nearer stops heading west, most families have their puppy within a day or two of departure rather than the full three. Crete comes up 318 miles into the route, and the same van reaches , including Kankakee IL, Beecher IL, Yellowhead IL, and Grant Park IL.
Flight nanny. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands it over at baggage claim. The usual arrival airports for Crete families are Gary Chicago International Airport, and Chicago Midway International Airport. Nearly all of these trips wrap up inside a day. It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight, since the price depends on the route and the date. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under twenty pounds including the carrier, which no Yorkshire Terrier gets anywhere near, and we arrange the health certificate beforehand. Winter delays are worth planning around if you're flying a puppy into Illinois in January.
We send food along with every puppy. The method, the timing, and the price all get confirmed on a call once a puppy is reserved.
