Learn Why We Adore Yorkies

At The Puppy House, Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies, hold a special place in our hearts. Along with their beautiful, long, silky coat, Yorkies shed very little, so they're often recommended for people with allergies. Yorkies typically weigh 7 pounds or less, but they have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But underneath that attitude, what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of cuddling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. They quickly become part of most families. Tracking down a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Watertown, Wisconsin area can be challenging, since responsible breeders are so rare across the country. That's why we're proud to bring our carefully bred Yorkie puppies to families in Watertown. We want every family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can depend on.

What Makes Our Puppies Stand Out

When it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies, we do things the right way at The Puppy House. We hold our program to standards well beyond the basics. Each of our adult dogs is genetically tested and comes from strong bloodlines with a history of great temperaments. Our dogs are all well cared for and have plenty of room to play and socialize.

Every puppy is given Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done early in life. Next comes socialization, another important step that lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. Playtime happens in the backyard, where our puppies explore with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, plus it gives them plenty of exercise.

We invite you to come visit and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you get to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We're serious about placing our Yorkies, and for us it's more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends, staying in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.

Each puppy leaves with their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam completed. You can trust that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.

Delivery to Watertown, Wisconsin: Pickup, Ground Transport, and Flight Nanny

Wisconsin families choose ground delivery more than anything else. A professional pet transport service runs the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, a carrier of its own, veterinary check done before departure, and updates as it goes. The fee is a flat $350 anywhere in the state, Watertown and , including Oconomowoc WI, Beaver Dam WI, Fort Atkinson WI, Jefferson WI, Lake Mills WI, Ixonia WI, Horicon WI, Oakland WI, Johnson Creek WI, Ashippun WI, Juneau WI, La Grange WI, Rubicon WI, Concord WI, Palmyra WI, Hubbard WI, Lebanon WI, Aztalan WI, Fox Lake WI, Emmet WI, Westford WI, Lowell WI, Milford WI, Hebron WI, Hustisford WI, Calamus WI, Portland WI, Elba WI, Iron Ridge WI, Burnett WI, Cold Spring WI, Reeseville WI, Sullivan WI, Shields WI, and Neosho WI alike, and transport leaves on Tuesdays. Driving to us is a genuine possibility for some Wisconsin families. From Watertown it's 7 to 9 hours each way, so it makes for a long day at the least, but you get to see where the puppy was raised, meet the parents, and go over the health records and microchip registration at the kitchen table. Visits are by appointment.

Flight nanny is the fastest route and suits families who would otherwise be at the far end of a long drive. A trained handler keeps the puppy in the cabin at their seat, never in cargo, and hands it over at baggage claim. The usual arrival points for Watertown are Dane County Regional Truax Field, and General Mitchell International Airport. Most wrap up before evening. The puppy needs to be at least eight weeks old, under 20 pounds including the carrier, and traveling with a health certificate. A Yorkie clears the weight limit with room to spare, which is one reason the in cabin option works so well for this breed. Flight nanny pricing is per flight rather than by tier.

We sort out the method, the timing, and the cost on a call once a puppy is reserved, rather than at checkout.
