Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Harvey, IL
Here's Why We Love Yorkies
At The Puppy House, the Yorkshire Terrier, or Yorkie, holds a special place in our hearts. The breed's long, silky coat is beautiful and sheds very little, so Yorkies are often recommended for people with allergies. Most Yorkies weigh 7 pounds or less, but their big-dog attitude can be feisty and bossy. Yet what really wins people over is their sweet disposition and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of cuddling and always staying close is the icing on the cake. They adapt well to most families. If you live in the Harvey, Illinois area, finding a reputable Yorkie breeder can be challenging, since there are so few responsible breeders nationwide. This is why we're so proud to offer carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Harvey. Our goal is for every family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Find Out Why Our Puppies Stand Out
At The Puppy House, we make sure our Yorkies are bred and raised the right way. Our standards are set well above the minimum. All of our adult dogs have been genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Each dog in our care is well looked after and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
Our puppies all go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), which involves gentle handling exercises in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is just as important, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. Out in the backyard, our puppies play and explore alongside kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This is a great way for them to socialize, and they get plenty of exercise too.
If you're able to, we'd love for you to visit and choose your puppy in person. That way, you can see our home and our dogs for yourself and meet us face to face. We take the placement of our Yorkies seriously, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends along the way, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before leaving for their new home, each puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can bring your new Yorkie home knowing they're healthy, happy, and ready to be part of your family.

Transport leaves on Tuesdays. At $350 flat, Illinois sits in our regional tier, and since the state is one of the nearer stops heading west, most families have their puppy within a day or two of departure rather than the full three. Harvey comes up 323 miles into the route, and the same van reaches , including Blue Island IL, South Holland IL, Homewood IL, Dixmoor IL, Phoenix IL, and East Hazel Crest IL.
Flight nanny. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands it over at baggage claim. The usual arrival airports for Harvey families are Gary Chicago International Airport, and Chicago Midway International Airport. Nearly all of these trips wrap up inside a day. It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight, since the price depends on the route and the date. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under twenty pounds including the carrier, which no Yorkshire Terrier gets anywhere near, and we arrange the health certificate beforehand. Winter delays are worth planning around if you're flying a puppy into Illinois in January.
We send food along with every puppy. The method, the timing, and the price all get confirmed on a call once a puppy is reserved.
