Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Wadsworth, OH

The Reasons We Love Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, affectionately called Yorkies, have a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. This breed has a beautiful, long, silky coat and sheds very little, which is why it's often recommended for people with allergies. For a dog that typically weighs 7 pounds or less, the Yorkie has a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. On top of that, they love to cuddle and stay close all the time. They adapt well to most families. Locating reputable Yorkie breeders in the Wadsworth, Ohio area can be challenging, as there are very few responsible breeders across the country. This is why we're so proud to offer carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Wadsworth. We want every family to be able to bring home a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Discover What Sets Our Puppies Apart
At The Puppy House, we don't cut corners when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. We aim much higher than the basics. All of our adult dogs have been genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Each dog in our care is well looked after and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy takes part in Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Another important step is socialization, which helps our puppies build good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies spend time in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs, playing and exploring together. This is great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
We invite you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can tour our home, see our dogs, and meet us face to face. To us, placing a Yorkie is more than a one-time sale, and we take it seriously. We love keeping in touch with the new friends we make and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Each puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before going home. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.
Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to Wadsworth, Ohio
Coming to get the puppy
Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From Wadsworth the farm is 37 miles away, 1 to 2 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.
We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.
Home delivery
If the drive genuinely doesn't work, home delivery to Wadsworth, to , including Wooster OH, Chippewa OH, Rittman OH, Baughman OH, Guilford OH, Doylestown OH, Pigeon Creek OH, and Marshallville OH, or anywhere else in Medina County is $250, which is the lowest rate we charge anywhere. Your puppy travels with a pet delivery service in a climate controlled van, in a carrier of its own, and there are always two drivers so somebody is with the puppies the whole way. Their own veterinarian checks each puppy over after pickup and before the van leaves the driveway. Reserve before noon on Monday and it usually runs that week.
Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at Akron Canton Regional Airport, and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
