Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Wooster, OH
The Reasons We Adore Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, affectionately called Yorkies, have a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. With their long, beautiful, silky coat and very little shedding, Yorkies are often recommended for people with allergies. Yorkies usually weigh no more than 7 pounds, yet they have a big-dog attitude that can be both feisty and bossy. Yet what really wins people over is their sweet disposition and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of cuddling and staying close all the time is the cherry on top. They fit right in with most families. Reputable Yorkie breeders are hard to come by in the Wooster, Ohio area, since there are so few responsible breeders nationwide. That's why we take real pride in providing our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Wooster. We want every family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can depend on.

Discover What Sets Our Puppies Apart
At The Puppy House, we don't cut corners when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. The bar we set for ourselves is well above the basics. All of our adult dogs come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments, and every one is genetically tested. Each of our dogs is well cared for and has lots of room to play and be social.
Every puppy starts out with Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done over the first few weeks. We also focus on socialization, which lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. They spend time in the backyard playing and exploring with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This gives them great socialization and plenty of exercise at the same time.
Feel free to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. Placing our Yorkies matters to us, and we see it as more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Each puppy gets their first round of vaccinations and a thorough exam from a veterinarian before going home. You can be sure you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to become part of your family.
Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to Wooster, Ohio
Coming to get the puppy
Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From Wooster the farm is 27 miles away, 1 to 2 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.
We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.

Their own veterinarian checks each puppy over after pickup and before the van leaves the driveway. Reserve before noon on Monday and it usually runs that week.
Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at Akron Canton Regional Airport, and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
