Discover Why We're So Fond of Yorkies

Here at The Puppy House, Yorkshire Terriers, also called Yorkies, hold a special place in our hearts. Known for their beautiful, long, silky coat, Yorkies shed very little and are often recommended for people with allergies. Yorkies generally weigh 7 pounds or less, yet they carry themselves with a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. That said, what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of cuddling and staying right by your side is the icing on the cake. They make a great fit for most families. Reputable Yorkie breeders are hard to come by in the Londonderry, New Hampshire area, since there are so few responsible breeders nationwide. That's why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Londonderry. We want each family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can trust.

Why So Many Families Choose Our Puppies

At The Puppy House, breeding and raising Yorkies the right way is what we do. We expect much more from ourselves than the basics. Our adult dogs are all genetically tested, and they come from strong bloodlines known for wonderful temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and enjoy plenty of room to play and socialize.

Every puppy starts out with Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done over the first few weeks. Socialization is another important step, and it builds the foundation for good behavior and habits as they grow. Playtime happens in the backyard, where our puppies explore with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, plus it gives them plenty of exercise.

If you can make the trip, we invite you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person. That way, you can see our home, get to know our dogs, and meet us face to face. We take the placement of our Yorkies seriously, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love gaining new friends, keeping in touch, and seeing our pups grow up in loving homes.

Each puppy has their first round of vaccinations and a full veterinary exam before going home. You can bring your new Yorkie home knowing they're healthy, happy, and ready to be part of your family.

Delivery and Pickup Options for Londonderry, New Hampshire

Ground transport, a flat $350. New Hampshire falls in our regional delivery tier, so the fee is $350 whether the van is headed to Londonderry or to , including and Derry NH. A professional transport service drives door to door in a custom climate controlled van, with the puppy in an individual carrier, a veterinary check before departure, and updates while they're on the road. Vans leave Sugarcreek on Tuesdays. The East Coast route runs first, so New Hampshire arrivals land early in the trip. This is the option most families in Rockingham County choose and the one we recommend.

The practical arrival points for Londonderry are Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, and Laurence G Hanscom Field. A puppy has to be at least eight weeks old, under 20 pounds including the carrier, and traveling with a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. Yorkshire Terriers clear the weight rule with room to spare, which is part of why nanny flights work so well for this breed. Winter storms are the one thing to plan around, so we ask for some flexibility on the date between December and March.

Farm pickup by appointment. You're welcome to come to Sugarcreek and collect a puppy in person, see where it was raised, and go through the vaccination records, microchip registration, and guarantee at the kitchen table. From Londonderry it's 553 miles and 10 to 12 hours one way, which makes it a two day trip for nearly everyone, so this is worth it if seeing the place matters to you more than the miles do.

Winter arrivals need one bit of preparation. A Yorkie has a single silky coat and no undercoat at all, so there's no insulation under that hair. The van and the airplane cabin are both climate controlled, but a puppy arriving in Londonderry in February needs a sweater for the walk to the car and short trips outside for the first few days. Whichever method you pick, the timing and the final cost are confirmed on the phone once a puppy is reserved.
