Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Middletown, NY
Find Out What We Adore About Yorkies
At The Puppy House, Yorkshire Terriers, known to most people as Yorkies, have a special place in our hearts. Along with their beautiful, long, silky coat, Yorkies shed very little, so they're often recommended for people with allergies. Yorkies typically weigh 7 pounds or less, but you'd never guess it from their feisty, bossy, big-dog attitude. But their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family are what really win people over. Then there's their love of cuddling and staying close all the time, which is the icing on the cake. They slip right into family life in most homes. Finding a reputable Yorkie breeder near Middletown, New York can be a challenge, since there are so few responsible breeders across the country. That's exactly why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkie puppies to families in Middletown. We're committed to giving every family access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can rely on.

Discover Why Our Puppies Are the Best
When it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies, The Puppy House does things the right way. We aim much higher than the basics. Each of our adult dogs is genetically tested and comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Each dog in our care is well looked after and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy takes part in Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. We also focus on socialization, which lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. Our pups play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
Whenever possible, we invite you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person. You'll be able to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take the placement of our Yorkies seriously, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends, hearing from them over the years, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Each puppy leaves with their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam completed. You can trust that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Yorkshire Terrier Delivery to Middletown, New York
There are three ways to get your puppy home to Middletown, and we settle on one during a phone call after the deposit is in.
Farm pickup in Sugarcreek. New York is one of the states where driving out makes sense for a lot of families. From Middletown you're looking at 7 to 9 hours each way, 382 miles on the road. You get to see the facility, meet the parents, and go over the health records and microchip registration at the kitchen table. Visits are by appointment.
Ground delivery. A professional pet transport service drives your puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in its own carrier, with updates along the way. New York is a flat $350. Transport leaves on Tuesdays, and New York is an early stop on the eastern route, so most families here are holding their puppy the next day. That matters more than it sounds for this breed, since a Yorkshire Terrier has a single silky coat with no undercoat and not much defense against a cold February morning. The van stays temperature controlled the whole way. Around Orange County the driver also delivers to , including Wallkill NY, Deerpark NY, Wawayanda NY, Mechanicstown NY, Mount Hope NY, Goshen NY, Bethel NY, Florida NY, Delaware NY, Lumberland NY, Tusten NY, Cochecton NY, Otisville NY, Forestburgh NY, Smallwood NY, and Masthope PA, and the whole arrangement suits anyone who would rather not deal with an airport.
Flight nanny. A trained handler carries your puppy in the cabin, under the seat in an airline approved soft carrier, and never in cargo. Most flights are done same day. For Middletown, we meet families at baggage claim at New York Stewart International Airport, and Teterboro Airport. Yorkshire Terriers clear the twenty pound carrier limit without any trouble at four to seven pounds, so the breed is about as easy as it gets on a plane. We arrange the health certificate before travel, and the puppy has to be at least eight weeks old. Cost runs above ground delivery and is quoted per flight.
What we suggest for Middletown. If 7 to 9 hours each way is a day you can spare, come get the puppy yourself. It's a pretty drive. You'll learn more in an hour at the farm than in a dozen text messages. If that's more road than you want, ground delivery at $350 is the sensible choice. Flight nanny is for families who want the puppy in their arms in a matter of hours.
