Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Kent, OH
Why We're Crazy About Yorkies
Everyone at The Puppy House has a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies. Yorkies have a beautiful, long, silky coat that sheds very little, and they're often suggested for people with allergies. A Yorkie typically weighs 7 pounds or less but has a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But the biggest reason people fall in love with them is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of snuggling up and staying by your side is the icing on the cake. They usually fit right in with most families. It can be challenging to find reputable Yorkie breeders in the Kent, Ohio area, since responsible breeders are few and far between across the country. That's why we're proud to bring our carefully bred Yorkie puppies to families in Kent. We believe every family deserves access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Find Out What Makes Our Puppies the Best
Breeding and raising Yorkies the right way is what we're all about at The Puppy House. Meeting the basics isn't enough for us. Each of our adult dogs is genetically tested and comes from strong bloodlines with a history of great temperaments. Every dog we have receives excellent care and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy we raise goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first weeks of life. Socialization is another big part of the process, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies spend time in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs, playing and exploring together. It's great socialization, and it keeps them active too.
We invite you to come visit and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can see our home and our dogs for yourself and meet us face to face. We take placing each Yorkie seriously, and we see it as more than a one-time sale. We love gaining new friends, keeping in touch, and seeing our pups grow up in loving homes.
Every puppy has their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before going to their new home. You can rest easy knowing you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Free Pickup, or $250 Delivery to Kent, Ohio
Coming to get the puppy
Pickup is free and it's what most Ohio families choose. From Kent the farm is 48 miles away, 1 to 2 hours by car. A visit is also what separates a breeder from the large puppy websites, which are brokers listing dogs from kennels they have never walked into. Visits are by appointment. That isn't us being formal about it. This is a working farm, and an appointment means the time gets set aside for you properly rather than fitted in between chores. Come out, take as long as you want, and ask us anything. Nobody has ever been rushed off this property.
We're closed Sundays. A message left with us then usually gets answered Monday morning.
Home delivery
If the drive genuinely doesn't work, home delivery to Kent, to , including Streetsboro OH, Ravenna OH, Rootstown OH, Shalersville OH, Brimfield OH, Freedom OH, Charlestown OH, Hiram OH, and Mantua OH, or anywhere else in Portage County is $250, which is the lowest rate we charge anywhere. Your puppy travels with a pet delivery service in a climate controlled van, in a carrier of its own, and there are always two drivers so somebody is with the puppies the whole way. Their own veterinarian checks each puppy over after pickup and before the van leaves the driveway. Reserve before noon on Monday and it usually runs that week.
Flying makes little sense inside Ohio and almost nobody asks for it. If you did want it, the nanny would land at Akron Canton Regional Airport, and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, but a commercial flight with an in-flight nanny runs $750 to $1,200, which buys you nothing on a drive this short.
