Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Northville, MI
Find Out the Reasons We Love Yorkies
The Yorkshire Terrier, also known as the Yorkie, holds a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. Yorkies are low-shedding dogs with long, beautiful, silky coats, and they're often recommended for people with allergies. Yorkies typically weigh 7 pounds or less, but you'd never guess it from their feisty, bossy, big-dog attitude. But their sweet temperament and the deep bond they create with their family are what win people over. To top it off, they love to cuddle and stay close all the time. Yorkies fit right in with most families. Since there are so few responsible breeders across the country, finding reputable Yorkie breeders in the Northville, Michigan area can be challenging. That's why we're so proud to provide families in Northville with our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies. Our hope is that every family can have a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

Discover Why Our Puppies Stand Out
At The Puppy House, we make sure our Yorkies are bred and raised the right way. Our standards are much higher than what's required. All of our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Every dog we have receives excellent care and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy is given Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done early in life. Socialization is another important step that helps our puppies develop good behavior and habits as they grow. They play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This is great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
You're invited to visit us and choose your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take great care in placing our Yorkies, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. Nothing makes us happier than making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before any puppy goes home, they receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can bring your new Yorkie home knowing they're healthy, happy, and ready to be part of your family.
Getting a Yorkie Puppy Home to Northville, Michigan
Three ways work here, and which one we suggest for Northville mostly comes down to how you feel about the drive.
Pickup at the farm is free and it's the option we point Michigan families toward first. The drive is short by our standards. From Northville it's 164 miles, which works out to 2 to 4 hours each way. You get to see where the puppy was raised, go over the vaccination records and microchip registration at the table, and drive home with the puppy in your lap rather than in a van.
Home delivery by ground is our most popular option. It costs a flat $350 anywhere in Michigan, so a Wayne County address pays the same whether it's in Northville or out in , including Novi MI, and Plymouth MI. A professional transport service drives door to door in a climate controlled van, the puppy travels in an individual carrier after a pre transport vet check, and you get updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays, and most families are holding their puppy within about three days of departure, often sooner given how short the run north is.
Flight nanny is the fast option and gets quoted per flight. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin the whole way, never in cargo, and hands it to you at baggage claim, usually the same day. Yorkies make this easy because a puppy and an airline approved soft carrier together come nowhere near the twenty pound cabin limit. Northville families would meet the nanny at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, and Bishop International Airport. Health certificates are arranged before travel, and weather delays are worth planning around in winter.
