Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Galesburg City, IL
Find Out the Reasons We Love Yorkies
The Yorkshire Terrier, also known as the Yorkie, holds a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. A Yorkie's long, beautiful, silky coat sheds very little, which is why the breed is often recommended for people with allergies. Most Yorkies weigh 7 pounds or less, but their big-dog attitude can be feisty and bossy. Even so, what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the strong bond they form with their family. Their love of snuggling and sticking close all the time is the cherry on top. They adapt well to most families. Given how few responsible breeders there are across the country, finding reputable Yorkie breeders in the Galesburg City, Illinois area can be difficult. That's why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Galesburg City. Our hope is that every family can have a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

See What Sets Our Puppies Apart
At The Puppy House, we make sure our Yorkies are bred and raised the right way. Our standards go well beyond the basics. Our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines with a reputation for great temperaments. We take good care of our dogs and give them plenty of room to play and socialize.
All our puppies receive Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises we do in the first few weeks of life. Another important step is socialization, which helps our puppies build good behavior and habits as they grow. They get plenty of time to play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. It's great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
You're invited to visit us and choose your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can see our home and our dogs for yourself and meet us face to face. Placing our Yorkies is something we take seriously, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before any puppy goes home, they receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can bring your new Yorkie home knowing they're healthy, happy, and ready to be part of your family.

It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight, since the price depends on the route and the date. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under twenty pounds including the carrier, which no Yorkshire Terrier gets anywhere near, and we arrange the health certificate beforehand. Winter delays are worth planning around if you're flying a puppy into Illinois in January.
