Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Galesburg, IL
Find Out the Reasons We Love Yorkies
The Yorkshire Terrier, also known as the Yorkie, holds a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. A Yorkie's long, beautiful, silky coat sheds very little, which is why the breed is often recommended for people with allergies. While most Yorkies weigh 7 pounds or less, they have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But what wins people's hearts is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Plus, they love cuddling and staying close all the time, which makes them even more special. They quickly become part of most families. Searching for a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Galesburg, Illinois area can be challenging, given how few responsible breeders there are nationwide. That's why it means so much to us to offer our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Galesburg. It matters to us that every family has access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

See What Sets Our Puppies Apart
At The Puppy House, we make sure our Yorkies are bred and raised the right way. Our standards go well beyond the basics. We make sure all of our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have plenty of space for playing and socializing.
Each of our puppies receives Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a set of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Another important step is socialization, which lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. They play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This is great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
If you can, we'd love for you to come see us and pick out your puppy in person. It's a great chance to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take the placement of our Yorkies seriously, and to us it's more than a one-time sale. Nothing makes us happier than making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Every puppy gets their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam before going home. You can rest easy knowing you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
