Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Needham, MA
Discover What We Adore About Yorkies
At The Puppy House, Yorkshire Terriers, known to most people as Yorkies, have a special place in our hearts. Their coat is long, silky, and beautiful, and because it sheds very little, Yorkies are often recommended for people with allergies. Most Yorkies weigh 7 pounds or less, but their big-dog attitude can be feisty and bossy. However, what really wins people over is their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of snuggling up and staying by your side is the icing on the cake. Yorkies adapt easily to most families. Tracking down a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Needham, Massachusetts area can be challenging, since responsible breeders are so rare across the country. That's exactly why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkie puppies to families in Needham. We want every family to have access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can depend on.

Why Our Puppies Are Hard to Beat
When it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies, The Puppy House does things the right way. The standards we follow go well beyond the basics. We only work with genetically tested adult dogs from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have plenty of room to play and socialize.
All of our puppies go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Socialization is another important step, and it lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies enjoy playing and exploring in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. That playtime is great socialization, and it gives them plenty of exercise too.
You're welcome to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can see our home, get to know our dogs, and meet us face to face. We treat placing our Yorkies as more than a one-time sale, and we take it seriously. Our favorite part is making new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before going home, every puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can trust that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Getting a Yorkie Puppy Home to Needham, Massachusetts
There are three ways home, and for most families in Needham the choice comes down to the first two.
Ground delivery is what we recommend for Massachusetts. A professional transport service drives your puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, with an individual carrier, a pre transport vet check, and updates along the way. The fee is a flat $350 for Massachusetts, in Needham and in , including Wellesley MA, Dedham MA, and Dover MA alike. Vans leave Sugarcreek on Tuesdays, and East Coast routes usually run next day, so most families are holding their puppy within about three days of departure. Door to door matters more here than people expect, because it means nobody in Norfolk County is circling an airport for parking or timing a drive around summer traffic.
Flight nanny is the fastest option. A trained handler carries your puppy in the cabin, never in cargo, in an airline approved soft carrier under the seat, and hands the puppy over at baggage claim. Most are over inside a single day. For Needham, the arrival airports we work with are General Edward Lawrence Logan International Airport, and Laurence G Hanscom Field. The puppy needs to be at least eight weeks old, under twenty pounds with the carrier, and traveling with a vet issued health certificate, which is never a problem for a Yorkie. Flight nanny costs more than ground and is quoted per flight.
Farm pickup is open to anyone willing to make the drive. Needham is 552 miles from Sugarcreek, and 10 to 12 hours each way turns it into a full weekend. Some Massachusetts families do it anyway because they want to see where the puppy was raised and go through the health records, microchip registration, and guarantee at the kitchen table. You'd head home with a small bag of the food the puppy has been eating, a toy, and a blanket that smells like the litter. We settle the method, the timing, and the fee on a call rather than at checkout.
