Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Brownstown, MI
What We Adore About Yorkies
At The Puppy House, we have a soft spot for Yorkshire Terriers, better known as Yorkies. Yorkies are low-shedding dogs with long, beautiful, silky coats, and they're often recommended for people with allergies. Yorkies generally weigh 7 pounds or less, yet they carry themselves with a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. But at heart, Yorkies win people over with their sweet nature and the deep bond they form with their family. Their love of snuggling and sticking close all the time is the cherry on top. They usually fit right in with most families. With so few responsible breeders across the country, finding a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Brownstown, Michigan area can be a challenge. That's why we take great pride in offering our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Brownstown. Our goal is to help every family bring home a healthy, well-raised puppy they can rely on.
Our Available Yorkie Puppies In Brownstown
See What Makes Our Puppies the Best
At The Puppy House, we don't cut corners when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. We go well beyond the basic standards. All of our adult dogs have been genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Each of our dogs is well cared for and has plenty of room to play and socialize.
Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life, is part of every puppy's routine. Another important step is socialization, which helps shape good behavior and habits as they grow. Our puppies spend time playing and exploring in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This is a great way for them to socialize, and they get plenty of exercise too.
We invite you to stop by and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can see our home, get to know our dogs, and meet us face to face. We take placing each Yorkie seriously, and we see it as more than a one-time sale. We love making new friends and keeping in touch so we can watch our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before heading home, each puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can rest assured that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Getting a Yorkie Puppy Home to Brownstown, Michigan
Three ways work here, and which one we suggest for Brownstown mostly comes down to how you feel about the drive.
Pickup at the farm is free and it's the option we point Michigan families toward first. The drive is short by our standards. From Brownstown it's 139 miles, which works out to 2 to 4 hours each way. You get to see where the puppy was raised, go over the vaccination records and microchip registration at the table, and drive home with the puppy in your lap rather than in a van.
Home delivery by ground is our most popular option. It costs a flat $350 anywhere in Michigan, so a Wayne County address pays the same whether it's in Brownstown or out in , including Frenchtown MI, Trenton MI, Woodhaven MI, Grosse Ile MI, Flat Rock MI, Berlin MI, Ash MI, Gibraltar MI, Jerusalem OH, Rockwood MI, Woodland Beach MI, Stony Point MI, Detroit Beach MI, and South Rockwood MI. A professional transport service drives door to door in a climate controlled van, the puppy travels in an individual carrier after a pre transport vet check, and you get updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays, and most families are holding their puppy within about three days of departure, often sooner given how short the run north is.
Flight nanny is the fast option and gets quoted per flight. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin the whole way, never in cargo, and hands it to you at baggage claim, usually the same day. Yorkies make this easy because a puppy and an airline approved soft carrier together come nowhere near the twenty pound cabin limit. Brownstown families would meet the nanny at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, and Eugene F. Kranz Toledo Express Airport. Health certificates are arranged before travel, and weather delays are worth planning around in winter.
