Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Woodridge, IL
Discover Why We Love Yorkies
Yorkshire Terriers, also known as Yorkies, have a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. This breed has a long, beautiful, silky coat and is often recommended for people with allergies because it sheds very little. Even though most Yorkies weigh 7 pounds or less, they often act like big dogs, with an attitude that can be feisty and bossy. Still, their sweet nature and the deep connection they form with their family are what really win people over. Their love of snuggling and sticking close all the time is the cherry on top. They're a great match for most families. Finding a trustworthy Yorkie breeder in the Woodridge, Illinois area isn't easy, since there are so few responsible breeders across the country. That's why it means so much to us to offer our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Woodridge. We want every family to find a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.
Our Available Yorkie Puppies In Woodridge
Why Our Puppies Are the Best
At The Puppy House, we do things the right way when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. Our standards go well beyond the basics. All of our adult dogs have been genetically tested, and each comes from strong bloodlines known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have plenty of room to play and socialize.
Every puppy we raise goes through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first weeks of life. We also focus on socialization, which lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as our puppies grow. Our puppies enjoy playing and exploring in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. This is a great way for them to socialize, and they get plenty of exercise too.
We encourage you to visit us and pick out your puppy in person if you can. That way, you can check out our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. We take placing our Yorkies with families seriously, and it's more than a one-time sale to us. We love making new friends, keeping in touch, and seeing our puppies grow up in loving homes.
Before any puppy goes home, they receive their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. Rest assured that your new Yorkie will come home healthy, happy, and ready to be part of your family.
Yorkie Puppy Delivery to Woodridge, Illinois, and What Each Option Costs
Pickup in Sugarcreek. Collect the puppy yourself, by appointment. From Woodridge that's 6 to 8 hours each way. Families who make the drive see where the puppy was raised and go over the vaccination records, microchip registration, and health guarantee in person.
Home delivery by ground. Most Illinois families take this option, and it's the one we would suggest for almost any address in Cook County. A professional transport service drives the puppy door to door in a climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary check before departure and updates along the way. Transport leaves on Tuesdays. At $350 flat, Illinois sits in our regional tier, and since the state is one of the nearer stops heading west, most families have their puppy within a day or two of departure rather than the full three. Woodridge comes up 345 miles into the route, and the same van reaches , including Lisle IL, and Darien IL.
Flight nanny. A handler carries the puppy in the cabin beside them, never in cargo, and hands it over at baggage claim. The usual arrival airports for Woodridge families are Chicago Midway International Airport, and Chicago O'Hare International Airport. Nearly all of these trips wrap up inside a day. It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight, since the price depends on the route and the date. The puppy has to be at least eight weeks old and under twenty pounds including the carrier, which no Yorkshire Terrier gets anywhere near, and we arrange the health certificate beforehand. Winter delays are worth planning around if you're flying a puppy into Illinois in January.
We send food along with every puppy. The method, the timing, and the price all get confirmed on a call once a puppy is reserved.
