Yorkshire Terrier Puppies for Sale in Martinez, GA
Discover Why Yorkies Have Our Hearts
Yorkshire Terriers, often called Yorkies, hold a special place in our hearts at The Puppy House. A Yorkie's long, beautiful, silky coat sheds very little, which is why the breed is often recommended for people with allergies. They're small, usually weighing 7 pounds or less, but Yorkies have a big-dog attitude that can be feisty and bossy. Yet what really wins people over is their sweet disposition and the deep bond they form with their family. And their love of cuddling and staying close all the time is the icing on the cake. They fit right in with most families. Finding a reputable Yorkie breeder in the Martinez, Georgia area can be difficult, since there are so few responsible breeders across the country. That's why it means so much to us to offer our carefully bred Yorkshire Terrier puppies to families in Martinez. It matters to us that every family has access to a healthy, well-raised puppy they can count on.

What Makes Our Puppies Special
At The Puppy House, we believe in doing things the right way when it comes to breeding and raising Yorkies. Meeting the basics isn't enough for us. All of our adult dogs are genetically tested and come from strong bloodlines that are known for great temperaments. Our dogs are well cared for and have lots of space to play and socialize.
Every puppy takes part in Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), a series of gentle handling exercises done in the first few weeks of life. Another important step is socialization, which lays the groundwork for good behavior and habits as they grow. They play and explore in the backyard with kids, adults, and our own vaccinated adult dogs. Besides being great socialization, it gives them plenty of exercise.
If you're able, come visit us and pick out your puppy in person. That gives you the chance to see our home and our dogs and meet us face to face. Every Yorkie we place matters to us, and it's never just a one-time sale. We enjoy gaining new friends, keeping in touch, and watching our pups grow up in loving homes.
Before going home, every puppy receives their first round of vaccinations and a thorough veterinary exam. You can trust that you're bringing home a healthy, happy Yorkie who's ready to be part of your family.
Three Ways a Yorkie Puppy Gets From Sugarcreek to Martinez, Georgia
Ground delivery, $350. Georgia sits in our regional pricing tier, so home delivery is a flat $350 anywhere in the state. A professional pet transport service drives the puppy door to door in a custom climate controlled van, in an individual carrier, with a veterinary checkup before departure and updates from the road. Transport leaves Sugarcreek on Tuesdays. Martinez is 482 miles from the farm, and once route stops are figured in, most families here are holding their puppy within a couple of days. The van that serves Martinez also covers , including Augusta GA, Evans GA, and North Augusta SC. This is the option we recommend for almost everyone in Columbia County. There's no airport trip on either end, and for a four pound dog, a climate controlled van is a better ride than a car with a carrier on the back seat.
Flight nanny. If you want the puppy sooner, a trained handler flies with it in the cabin of a commercial flight, in an airline approved soft carrier under the seat, never in cargo. Most of these are finished the same day. From Martinez, the airports we would plan a handoff around are Augusta Regional At Bush Field, and Columbia Metropolitan Airport. Yorkshire Terriers clear the twenty pound cabin limit with room to spare. We arrange the health certificate ahead of travel, and the handoff happens at baggage claim. It costs more than ground transport and gets quoted per flight.
Farm pickup. You're welcome to come get the puppy yourself by appointment. The drive up from Martinez runs 9 to 11 hours each way, and families sometimes make an overnight trip out of it. You see where the puppy has been raised. We go over the microchip registration, vaccination records, and the health guarantee in person. Once the round trip turns into two long days of driving, ground delivery starts making more sense than the gas.
Every puppy goes home with a bag of the food it has been eating. The method, the timing, and the fee all get confirmed on a phone call once the puppy is reserved.
